Had to disconnect the fridge as it was so noisy. There were no tables in the dining area, people had to crouch over tiny coffee tables or sit on couches. There’s room, why don’t they put dining tables? The space Age shower nozzles were mostly gummed up. They world work very well if they were cleaned.

Too many fees $50 for the room and $20 more just to park. Stayed at this Hotel other years off season and did not pay for parking . In a review just a couple of months ago someone complained about parking fee and was told by management to come back in off season when it’s free. So what happened are they trying to drive away off season bookings ?

Price was a bit much after including all the extra taxes and fees. Besides sales tax, there was city assessment, Cornell Cooperative donation, Amenity Fee, Cit Assessment, Beach Erosion Fund, and Occupancy tax. The continental breakfast was rather blah, but the area in which it was held was comfortable.

Location was terrific. We were within walking distance of everything in the heart of Greenport. We had a room with an outside deck overlooking the harbor and were able to watch the ferry go back and forth, people using the green area by the carousel, and those just enjoying the outdoors. We were lucky to have a lovely November day. The coffee was available in the room, as well as a safe, and toiletries in the bathroom

Registration people were fine, but not a lot of personality and were not very knowledgeable about the area. They made a few suggestions, but clearly not concierge-like staff. Also, continental breakfast could have been better. The muffins were hard. 8

We loved it all! I wish I would have known more about the "sister hotel" and access to it's private beach. I also didn't know about Hay Beach until after we were leaving...I am not sure how we missed that info. We spent our days on the harbor side and we did go over to Shelter Island to the beach which was well worth it.

Everything was wonderful! We paid for a partial view room and we were a bit skeptical as to what "partial" might mean but we had a lovely view of the harbor. We did have to pay extra for parking in the hotel lot but the staff was awesome in letting us stay there after we checked out to go roam Front Street one more time. Breakfast was perfect for us...the coffee was delicious and the continental spread was more than adequate for what we wanted. The location was perfect. I love the decor of the hotel...the room was modern rustic but very cozy. We loved it! I would definitely stay there again! The staff was awesome!
