Parking can be a challenge. The area around the sink in my room was very tight with no place to set anything down, and it was difficult to navigate around the sofa bed and the desk when the bed was open. Very awkward. I didn't realize the location is rather remote. It took some walking to get to a variety of shops/restaurants. I did think it was somewhat overpriced for the location and lack of valet parking.

Staff went above and beyond to prepare my room for arrival (making up the sofa bed) and helping me to secure parking. I received help with finding a pharmacy for my son, and securing a bowl to warm soup as he had outpatient surgery during our stay. Lovely hotel (I love the Box also).

I was in the basement, so close to street noise. The bar did not have craft beer, but what a first world problem.

Had a cool vibe. Could walk to a wide range of food options easily and safely. Very quirky decor Good view of Manhattan skyline from upper balcony

The room should have been made up every second day. We stayed for 6 nights and the room was only cleaned of trash and made up once.

Friendly staff. Laundry and gym facilities. Wonderful sized room with seperate lounge. 2 televisions. Subway’ Nassau’ stop about a 10 minute walk. Refrigerator.

All was fine. I just stayed for one night but I figure it would be a little hard to go to Manhattan every day if I had to.

You had to be sure you are headed in the right direction when going on walks and rides. It is on the boundaries of cool neighborhoods and industrial facilities. Brooklyn , Green point is really a cool area if you pay attention.

Employees were helpful and made good recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Very clean and well maintained. Close to neat ethnic communities and great places to walk .

Noise from people walking around in the night from rooms above - might not bother some people but it did disturb our sleep. Would go for top floor next time.

The floor squeaks, if you have neighbors above you, or next to you, you will hear their every movement. And as light sleeper. It woke me up several times at night and the construction on the other block. It can get noisy outside.

Sound insulation of the floor is not good. We can hear the people’s steps in 3rd floor clearly and it’s a little bit noisy at midnight.

Kitchen in the room is good. The staffs in the front desk are very friendly.

Fourth floor penthouse was one of the cooler 'normal' hotel rooms I've ever had (ie: a regular hotel, not some crazy resort). The private balcony was dope, art and design were awesome, great location, great staff

The breakfast is very basic but since we had a kitchen we had breakfast in our room. Whilst the subway station is close by, the line was closed on Sunday and you have to change to get anywhere. So getting to places does involve a lot of walking and multiple modes of transport. However, once we found out about the ferry, that was a much better way to travel.

The Deluxe loft suite was very spacious (for New York) and well put together. The hotel is very pleasant and the staff responsive. There are many restaurants nearby and a park. The area is safe to walk at night.
