Rooms are old and need an update. There was no body wash or shampoo.

The entrance to the hotel is a bit confusing as it shares the entrance with a roof top bar.

Clean comfortable room in a very central location at a resonable price, for NYC. No Frills but a great base for exploring the city. The room to relax and change clothes with shower facilities you could access after check out, if you were leaving NYC later in the day, was a nice touch. They also stored bagage securely for a minimal charge.

It was a bit noisy at night !

The location was really good for tourists and very central and close to everything. The rooftop " monarch" next to the hotel was amazing ( even though not included nor in a partnership with the hotel ) but it was a plus for guests of the hotel since they got to enjoy the rooftop during the day after 2 PM.

TV was not working for the duration of the stay No full length mirror Considering the area is very busy there's not a lot of security for who is making their way in and out of this hotel. We would have preferred it if you needed to use your room key to access hotel room floors.

Don't let some of the reviews for this place turn you off. For the price €€€ it is a bit rough around the edges, but it is clean & in a good location (we had a great view!). if you're spending an excessive amount of time in the room during the day, I wouldn't stay again. However, it's perfect if you're sleeping there and getting out and about in the city.

I've stayed here twice now and on future visits to new york would always try to book here. I find the rooms are a decent size, the location is very good not too close to times square but close enough and also nice enough to get out of the times square bubble. My niece asked me to pick up some stuff I couldn't find it anywhere but amazon so had it delivered to hotel with no dramas (thanks for that!) The train station outside was super convenient and easy to use. I personally really enjoy this hotel

You could hear the noises from the street, the sirens. honking…. but is New York city, what can you expect?

The hotel has carpet in all rooms, what was a problem for someone that is allergic. To leave our luggage after checking out, they charged us.

The location is very convenient as well as the lounge room before check-in.

The tiny mini fridge and the ice machine on the floor did not work. Really no place to put clothes. (No dresser and the "closet" was a bar over the desk)

Location is pretty much the only positive. The place needs renovation, no one is checking if someone is a hotel guests, people can just walk in and out. Don’t feel safe at all but I have my own safety measures inside the door to feel safer. But that’s not specifically the problem of this hotel; it’s just the way it is for New York…

There was an issue with the TV as it only had 3 channels due to an issue that wasn't fixed over the weekend. The rooms also didn't get cold with the air con. It made the room comfortable but during the summer it might be an issue.

The location is amazing. The size of the rooms was brilliant and the shower pressure was excellent.

The daily room service is not too attentive to number of towels required and refilling the basic toiletries. Room is not vacuumed as well.
