Receptionists were not helpful, no one was there to help with the luggage in check in or out (and I got many) Didn’t help when I needed a taxi to the airport. Didn’t pick up the phone when I call from my room. As there were no one working there.

The lobby was uninspiring and a mess, so first impressions was not great. There was also no hotel name on the outside of the building.

The location was great and the room was very spacious and comfortable. Those cleaning the room, were excellent.

The entrance to the hotel is dark and unwelcoming. The hotel could be good but there is a lack of care about details. No wash cloths available one day. Coffee machine is in the room but no supplies - a request brought just one creamer

Waiting for the lift can take a long time. One of the rooms we booked was for two double beds, but inside the room, one of the beds was a thin mattress laid on a sofa bed. It was acceptable for us.

The location is great, 5 mins walk to a subway station, and with many food options around. Macy’s is just across the road. The place was clean, value for money given the prices of hotels in NYC.

The staff could automatically explain a few things better right from the check-in, without hesitation. For example did nobody tell us how often housekeeping would come to change towels, nor how it works with the roof top terrace. If we hadn’t heard before that there was one, we wouldn’t have known it. Nobody explained to us how you can get up there and that registration with ID is required. Upon arrival staff at the reception wasn’t very welcoming, the only thing we were asked was to pay a deposit.

excellent position. One block from the ESB and two blocks from MSQ and Penn Station. Services are limited but I didn't expected more. Very clean. It's a perfect solution if you need a clean and well positioned bed&shower accomodation to visit the city. Of course the street can be busy (we had night roadworks just below our window) but that's Manhattan... Anyway windows were of good quality. The rooftop bar is nice but it's an extra.

Facilities weren't the best. The gym was not well-mentained and poorly equipped. Room was pretty bare bones as far as hotel rooms go, but at least it was functional. Window blinds were broken for my unit.

Location was superb and located close to a MTA station. More affordable than the other hotels in the vicinity. Staff were generally polite and followed up on requests promptly.

Wish it had a full size length mirror for outfits

Surprisingly large rooms, clean and pretty comfortable. It looks like most of the bad reviews were about refunds as long as you don’t expect a refund. This is a pretty great place for the price.
