The intersection is really busy and car traffic can be noisy.

Joe and David are gracious hosts who really make you feel welcomed. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The little touches like spare pet supplies and good beach chairs and towels were appreciated.

Breakfast was excellent and offered multiple choices. The Fresh fruit was good , ordered the daily special and appreciated all the choices. The room was small but worked for us because if the great closet and shelves. Since we would spend little time in the room, smallness was not an issue. Hosted were very responsive and welcoming. We will return!

Everything at the Homestead was wonderful! The site was beautiful. The room was very comfortable, clean, lovely. The owners were super accommodating, generous, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing - interesting diverse options, great quality, served on a screened-porch...perfect. Also very helpful discussions/guidance with the owners regarding nearby locations. Fellow travelers, including dogs, were all very sweet. Other amenities, like the pool and lounge, are very special. There is a lot of care here, and it's much appreciated!

We weren’t crazy about the location, the traffic on the intersection made it very hard to get out of the driveway and deterred us from going out like we would have liked.

The breakfast was fantastic. The hosts were very nice and personable, the property was immaculate. The pool was amazing.

Stairs are quite steep in this lovely old converted farmhouse, and the location at a busy intersection makes for loud noise when on their otherwise welcoming and comfy porch, and on weekends especially loud even through the windows. Would have liked a wine & cheese offering in the evenings, or something a little more community oriented. (& Nobody wears a mask.... But then again, the entire state and Eastern Shore appears to be oblivious to COVID!)

Loved the hosts' responsiveness and attention to detail especially design and cleanliness of rooms and fantastic breakfasts (plus flexibility and choices of items and location and time...and especially accommodating for my celiac wife!) They provide Beach towels, beach chairs, great little pool with pool! Super dog friendly, mini dog park, grassy areas, extra bowls and sheets and so forth, plus the spacious campus has a nice bocce ball court, garden which makes breakfast extra delicious, doggie and foot showers, and offers a cottage with kitchen as an option! DVDs, books, e.t.c and good wi fi and tv options.

Truthfully, I cannot think of anything that could have been improved. We did not encounter any issues or want for anything while were stayed there.

We stayed in the Garden Room in the main house. The breakfast was great, with daily varied options that the owners tell you about well in advance (we stayed for two nights). The room was very nice, with everything you need either in the room or really close by. The grounds were well kept, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Parking was easy and really close to the room. There were a lot of the little extras that made it such a nice stay, including a fridge in the room, coffee and tea, as well as a filtered water and ice machine. There were pool and beach towels, and beach chairs, and umbrellas. The grounds were so quiet and nice, we actually spent more time there than we did at the beach. It is relatively close to the beach, but you will need to Uber or drive. The owners were on site frequently and were super friendly.

The only drawback was the noisy street corner. Many cars use that intersection. However, with the windows closed, it was tolerable.

The facilities and property were great. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were exceptional! The pool looked very inviting but it was too chilly (since it was only May) to go in.

Because of new developments in the neighborhood, the street could get busy and noisy.

The breakfast was exceptional. Our breakfast tray was brought to our outdoor table. The place was very clean. Dirty dishes were taken to be cleaned quickly. The coffee, tea and candy were at your fingertips in the breakfast room. Joe and his partner were wonderful hosts.
