I wish the diner was open longer. We had to be places early so we weren’t able to get there before 3pm. Other than that everything was perfect we had no issues at all.

The bathroom was very spacious. The overall room felt as if I was home in terms of comfort and a peaceful energy.

Stylish hotel perfectly situated to explore DTLA

The bathroom design - taking advantage of the dead space in the room's lobby area - was clever but not entirely practical. Without being too explicit, there doesn't seem to be any ventilation in the toilet cubicle design which made for some less than pleasant smells circulating in the room itself from time to time. It would also have been nice to have bathrobes for heading up to the rooftop pool.

Beautiful hotel perfectly situated to explore DTLA. The rooms were lovely, beautifully furnished and very comfortable - the best hotel sleep I've had in a while. As brits, it was nice to have both tea & coffee facilities in room. The steamer was a nice touch, and less faffy than an iron. We were on the 10th floor, so had some spectacular views over the city. Also loved the rooftop pool, and Moonlark's Dinette was a fantastic breakfast spot.

Was with my nephew and the bathroom is open concept with see-through doors. For both the shower and toilet. 😳 We fastened two pillows cases together to cover part of the glass so that when you were on the bed you couldn't see the person taking a shower. Not one picture shows this issue.

Cute little hotel room. Great location. Nice restaurants.

not sure if it was advised beforehand, but I didn’t know about the valet parking - and wasn’t sure about my options. we went with the valet which worked well, but it was a considerable cost.

Beautiful design hotel, modern but not soulless. Very comfortable beds.

However, we got all our things up to our room for our key to not work. Had to lug things back down, to be told that the battery to the door must be out and it will need to be fixed. We went back up to wait at our room, so we could put our luggage away. We waited for a bit outside of our door and decided to bring everything back down and eat at the restaurant there. It was not until we were trying to make our stuff fit at our table, that it was offered we could store our things, but we had already made them fit under the table and booth. So, starting off, it was not ideal at all. Not being able to get into the room itself felt off-putting. Like, it was our fault the keypad had zero battery. While I can understand things like this can happen, they could have at least apologized and offered to hold the luggage until it was fixed or help get us into a different room. It was not like we had taken a foot into the room, as the door was broken. The lobby bathroom was dirty and smelly, and I only used it because we could not get into our room.

We were able to check in and decided to valet park the car, as we could walk our luggage up. That was a fail, as stated below, the room key reader was broken. Once we finally got INTO our room, it was nice. Looked like the photos. It was raining, so we did not get to take in the view up at the rooftop pool area. Maybe next time. The downstairs restaurant was nice. The mozzarella sticks and homemade chips were really good! The bedding was the best, super soft and comfortable!

The room was a little compact and we were a little disappointed that the bar was never open after we got back from our nights out.

Lovely downtown hotel that provided great access to the main Downtown sites being a 10 minute walk from both Historic Broadway, Grand Central Market and the Crypto Arena for the sporting events. The breakfast at the Moonlark was really lovely and the service was excellent. The restaurant on the roof level, Cabra, was fantastic.

The latte I got in the morning was insanely expensive. The pillows in the room were a bit too flat for me; my neck was a bit sore in the morning.

All the staff were amazing, very helpful, polite, and responsive. The location was perfect for us (within walking distance of the Peacock Theater). Bathroom was clean, room was cozy.

The location in downtown L.A. is close to the cultural district (the broad, concert hall) but also reveals some of the problematic sides of the city. Room service needs improvement.

The overall style of the Hoxton hotels is great and the room was very spacious with a stunning view (10th floor). Bar and rooftop definitely worth a drink.

The controls for lights were confusing.

The hotel is a classic piece of Los Angeles history and architecture. They have done a good job of making it compatible with modern standards and amenities. I liked the shower particularly. I think it’s a good value at this price point.

The hotel is situated on the south-eastern side of Downtown LA, meaning that a walk further south or east takes one into some very run-down areas with plenty of derelict buildings and people sleeping rough on the streets. I could not find any bars nearby, other than the ones in the hotel, and the range of shops nearby is confined to a rather unclean, poorly stocked CVS pharmacy.

I had a good 4-night stay at this hotel and can not fault it for cleanliness, room design and customer service. The roof-top bar, complete with a small pool, is a nice touch with some great views of the city centre. The ground-floor restaurant had a limited selection of dishes but the food I eat there was excellent. If you are not driving, there are plenty of bus stops nearby that will take you to all the sights you want to see

The TV didn't work and had one of your employees try to get it working for about an hour. No luck. The burger in the Cafe was sub par with a rare patty and soggy bun.

We didn't like the location at all... One night the music was so loud, we were up most of the night, which could be a reason we would not stay again. Also expensive parking (there is no street or alternative parking available) and an added destination fee which is not listed on booking.com.

Honestly an amazing hotel - beautiful and super clean rooms, great amenities. Loved all attention to detail (literally offered us anything for our baby, left a little note in the room for our honeymoon, etc). amazing staff too!
