The Inn was amazing! My wife and I love historic and unique architecture and this house was spectacular. High ceilings and spacious rooms with excellent craftsman woodworking and stained glass.

The mansion was beautiful and we were pleased with the amenities offered during our stay. Comfortable bedroom. The breakfast was elegant and so stylish. Most delicious. Mr. Dennis is a great host of this facility. Also this location was near the Santander Arena where we was going out for a concert.

The inn is stunning. Everything was perfect for our quick getaway weekend . Breakfast was delicious , the bed was comfortable, and I took advantage of the huge clawfoot tub for a nice long soak. Dennis was so nice, and we had great conversations with him during our stay. We will definitely be returning. Thank you again for a lovely weekend.

Dennis was delightful, accommodating & full of information. The home was lovely & we enjoyed all the vintage Christmas decorations! Our room was beautiful & we had a delicious breakfast. It was only a mile to the concert arena. I would highly recommend!

I didn't know that much about the city of Reading, but the host was full of info. and recommended some places to visit.

I loved the beautiful older house that was restored. The front desk and sitting room were dressed up for Christmas and elegant music could be heard in the background. Our room was beautiful and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious!

It was so charming and beautiful! It was also decorated with lots of nostalgic Christmas decorations, that made us feel like we were going back in time to a magical Christmas past. Dennis impressively accommodated my vegan diet with amazing gingerbread waffles for breakfast! We felt so well cared for during our stay.

Dennis, the owner and inn keeper, was terrific: friendly, knowledgeable and conversant. The building was meticulously and beautifully restored. The rooms and beds were large and comfortable. Water and sodas were available and free. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We were unable to experience the dinner offered once a month, but I'm sure it would be excellent. We will return.

We had initial questions on its location, simply because the GPS took us through a "run- down" part of town. But all is well that ends well!

The service was warm and inviting. The breakfast was fit for a king! The room was luxurious.

Wouldn't change a thing.

Everything about our stay was spectacular. We were greeted at the front door by Dennis, the proprietor, who was lots of fun and very helpful when we had questions. He really cares about the little details to make your stay a pampered experience. The house is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful woodwork, stained glass, and built-ins with tastefully minimal decor that lets the house itself really shine. The main areas and our suites (Sarah and Parkview) were spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. The AC in our room was deliciously cold and also acted as a white noise machine so we slept soundly. We also enjoyed spending time in the cozy little nooks on the front porch and the balcony off Sarah's suite. Breakfast was SO delicious, everything fresh and perfectly prepared, like something you'd get in a fancy restaurant. The location was also perfect, in a beautiful quiet historic leafy neighborhood but a short walk to all the restaurants and activities downtown. I really wish we could have stayed longer but we'll be back!

The only thing that I didn't like was that we had to leave.

Place was absolutely gorgeous. Wood work n carvings were amazing. Fireplaces in every room and huge window's. Staff was so so great and went way beyond the call of duty for our needs , Denise made us feel totally valued and comfortable. His people skills are truly polished and perfected. Bed was huge , soft , and full of goose down pillows. Breakfast next morning was great.. we had omelets, hash browns,pastries, coffee ,orange juice and it was all fresh and amazing.

Dennis was so hospitable and accommodating and nice! I am on a vegan consumption plan right now and he whipped up something suitable and delicious! I'm grateful to God for the experience 😊
