Zero complaints or criticism. Only disappointment concerned the terms and conditions imposed by the adjacent (private) golf club on resort guest play. I felt that disallowing single players was a bit much.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at The Kahala. The resort grounds are absolutely beautiful - from the lobby to the veranda to the pool area, dolphin cove, and beach - and the staff service is just top-notch, among the best I've experienced. Certain staff members (Linda, Carolyn, Jamaica, Evangelina, Rudy, Leilani, and the whole valet crew!) made our stay that much more comfortable and special. We look forward to future family TLC time at The Kahala, shoots!

Nothing! The Kahala does everything right. The only thing I didn't like was leaving.

The Kahala is a classic and cannot be beat! The location is close enough to the city if you want to go in it but just far enough outside of the city to make you feel like you are in a relaxing, tropical location. The rooms are more than adequate in size and amenities and ALL of the staff are super friendly and helpful.

The staff was so welcoming from the beginning till the end ( even before arrival with extremely responsive and helpful concierge, thank u Koji!). Felt like royalty! amazing private access to a perfect beach. Nice pools and equipment. we did a dolphin quest and stayed in a room with a view to dolphin lagoon- was such a unique experience for the kids (and adults). the restaurants on site were great. perfect experience.

Not too crazy about the pool but I guess people enjoy it. I can’t seat by a pool with an ocean like that in front of me :-)

This place is a gem. It’s traditional, it’s clean, it’s well managed, convenient location, feet on the beach, silent and secure, perfect for couples, for families with little children, beach was a piece of paradise in every way possible. Breakfast has everything you could possibly want and more, absolutely delicious variety, the staff serving are the kindest folks you’ll find in this country ( believe me) this people love what they do and do it with pride. Kahala Beach Hotel made a mark on me. We were here for a few days, in a business trip my husband needed to take and I came to accompany him. I picked the cheapest room that was offered through booking.com because we were not going to be in the hotel much.Still the room was fantastic, the mattress was very comfortable, percale cotton sheets, excellent towels, beautiful pillows. All this adds up to a gorgeous stay. At the end of the day my husband thanked me for picking up this place instead of other options in Waikiki for the quietness and privacy this hotel offers. We will be back with our family and friends Mahalo 🌺

Washing facilities are a little old.
