Solas doorman refused entry from street door as said capacity reached which clearly not the case as when I went to hotel reception there was no issue. He was unsure what to do when I informed him I was a hotel resident

The beds could be more comfortable, I found the mattress to be old and not enough support. Also, there were days where the housekeeping was not up to standard, even though they did leave everything clean, they forgot lights on and towels out of place in bathroom 2 days out of 5.

The staff is very welcoming and nice and ready to help.

Location is excellent for walking to restaurants and shopping. Easy for Uber as well. Room was comfortable and the bathroom was as well. Welcome gift of Lindt Chocolates was appreciated.

Front desk manager on checkout wasn’t very friendly

Location was great in the heart of Backbay City bar and lobby made you feel special Easy to get in an out of the city using rental car and close the public transport Morning coffee and fruit was excellent Lindt gift on arrival was a pleasant surprises Valets and front desk staff were fantastic

No Tea and coffee in the room (we were given kettle on night 3 which we were grateful for). Going down in morning to lobby for hot drink was annoying and there was no hot water for tea on one occasion and no normal tea bags. We are so used to European hotels providing this in the room. View was a building site. Found TV quite complicated to use and it felt like too many things carried an extra cost.

Room was very comfortable - quiet, airy, great size, good quality bedding. Slept very well and we enjoyed being in it! Lifts were fantastic, never had to wait very long. Liked the atmosphere - although lobby quite dark. Staff friendly and helpful. Walked there from station and found our way round easily.

Fitness center need to be upgraded.

The location of the hotel is perfect when visiting Boston. Lots of dining options and things to do are very close. The history of the hotel makes it very charming and comfortable. The lobby bar is one of my favorite places to get a cocktail in Boston. Very nice staff.

I came back to The Lenox because I had a fantastic experience when I stayed there in 2019. The experience is unchanged: it's a beautiful place, super location, but most importantly: a fantastic team. I don't know how they do it: every staff member you meet is genuinely interested, friendly and helpful. A super dedicated team that is trying their utmost to make you feel at home.

Excellent location. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and trolley pick up. Also walking distance to Back bay station. Room was good sized and bed was very comfortable. Two beautiful restaurants/bars that had delicious food.

Quite dark decor in the lobby area.

Three nights in Boston and our accommodation at the Lenox hotel was perfect for us. Everything we wanted was within walking distance including restaurants, shops, parks, places of interest including the harbour. Even our car hire from Hertz was only a 5 minute walk to the Westin Copley hotel.

Beautiful historic hotel! The bed was super comfy with high quality bedding. The bathtub was great and the toiletries were high quality. The staff was very kind and helpful. We really had a great time at the Lenox.

Solas was dark. Diners were seated close to the chandelier over the stairs for light.

No in-room coffee. Some mornings, you could get a banana at reception with your coffee, some days not. At breakfast, the air conditioning in the restaurant was a bit cold.

We had a quiet room (as requested) with a view of the city. Check-in was easy, and we got help with the luggage.

One small thing but it wasn't a problem, no kettle or tea and coffee in the room. There was plenty of complementry tea and coffee available in the lobby which was great but awkward to travel the lift with hot beverages.

The staff were extremely courteous and friendly. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the decor was fantastic, it felt as though we were back in time with all the modern comforts.
