This is a beautifully appointed home with lovely gardens. The artwork and sculptures were terrific.

We noticed nor experienced anything we did not like.

This may be the first across-the-board excellent i've written; Every night and morning - and occasionally an afternoon nap - was exactly what we needed while touring Gettysburg. Steve and Teresa are warm, attentive, professional and solid hosts. As much chit chat as we wanted; all the information we could hope for. Really was a great experience for us. If you are looking for comfortable authenticity in a Gettysburg stay, do yourself a favor and just book this property.

Innkeepers Steve & Teresa were amazing and friendly and made sure we were having a good stay! My hubby loved his morning chats with Steve & Jason over breakfast. Breakfast was fantastic!! Jason was awesome 👌What a great time !!

Access to a clothes washer and dryer would have been a nice convenience.

Overall, my stay was outstanding. Teresa and Steve are cordial and helpful hosts. While not intruding on my plans they were most helpful when asked for advice or suggestions related to my planned activities. Their road directions and dining recommendations were spot on and most helpful. Breakfast was a special treat and Jay is an entertaining chef to boot. If I return to Gettysburg, Lightner Farmhouse will be my basecamp and I will recommend it to any friends headed that way.

Steve and Teresa are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed our stay in the beautiful farmhouse! We were in the area for our son’s family weekend with a full schedule so we didn’t have a lot of time there, but, would recommend it 100%!

Was unsure of BnB experience...but we had an amazing experience. The property was absolutely stunning. The hosts..the Baileys could not do enough. Jason, the chef, prepared amazi g food. We cannot say enough good things.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like about it.

The staff was awesome. The breakfasts were always fantastic. The farm is an easy driving distance from the battlefield and from downtown. It also doesn’t have the traffic and noice as downtown. Great place to stay. Nice historic background. We will be back.

Carrying heavy suitcases to our room from where the cars were parked. I sm a senior with poor eyesight and not much strength. I could have gladly tip a employee to carry my luggage up to the room approximently 50 steps .

The house! Old, comfortable, beautifully decorated. Colors quiet and very restful.. Wonderful art works! Food well done. Available cold water and soft drinks all the time.Very quiet setting

I loved everything. The welcoming new owners greeted us warmly. Our suite was comfortable and beautifully decorated. I have stayed here before and left very satisfied and this time didn't disappoint either. I look forward for future stays. Ty.

We enjoyed the setting. Close to sites & dining but removed from noise & business of the heart of Gettysburg. Very personable inn keepers and staff(Jason- local who was very knowledgeable about the setting, history, area sites). Charming woodsy setting,; history of site & furnishings made our stay memorable and special.
