Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesRoom and bathroom was dirty and not dusted. Bathroom floor was dirty. Everytjing was "surface" clean...everything needs to be deep cleaned. We, also, had considerable noise...possibly coming from the HVAC on the roof. We mentioned this to the front desk. This was a special get away for my wife and I. I had requested a red rose and bottle of wine to be in the room when we arrived. This was not done and I had to call down to remind them...it made it look like an after thought. United StatesMy only complaint - we had a fire alarm go off right when we tried to go down to the pool. After we got back in the building and got down to the pool, an employee asked us to leave because a sprinkler had gone off and they had to test the water. We asked him to call our room when the pool was open. Nobody called. Tried ringing the front desk and nobody answered. Finally had to go down and just ask. The pool had been open for a while..
