Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWe wish there would have been breakfast. And the strict check in time was inconvenient for the very short tour of our room in the stables. Wish there was an evening activity option/after check in to see more of the facilities and meet other employees and members. Didn't get any info in person on what this place is and what it offers! Would have loved to hear about it from the staff. Also the shower in the Men's bathroom is backwards for hot and cold water just an fyi. Loved the place overall.
Location was beautiful and would have been even better if the north entrance to Yellowstone was open. The room in the stables was much nicer than anticipated! The staff was friendly and having a full kitchen and laundry room available to us was awesome!

United StatesWe knew there was no air conditioning, but happened to be there on the hottest week of the summer. During the day, the room was hot, but nights and mornings were pleasant with the fan on. We enjoyed everything else!
Everyone we met on the staff were friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the stable Roundup Room. It was a large room with a mirrored dresser and plenty of drawers. The rustic decor was also comfortable. I really enjoyed waking up to watch the horses in the corral and fields. The kitchen had a restaurant flattop stove, gas burners and two ovens, as well as a full sized fridge. (no ice though) We cooked all or meals there and had just about everything we needed. Bring a can opener. If you want serenity and solitude with amazing views, this is a perfect location.

United StatesDidn't like that we didn't have housekeeping services, our bed sheets were not changed and we had to use the same towels the next day. We had access to a patio and grille but we had to walk a long distance to get there!! It would have been nice to have a luggage cart and also, it would've been to have had some complimentary soaps & shampoos instead of lotion and water bottles.
Loved the location, beautiful views. Loved being near the horses! The towels and sheets were clean when we arrived.

United StatesThe Creekside Inn had quite possibly the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on in my life. Totally caved in, hard, springy, torture device of a mattress.

United StatesI did not realize we would be staying in a barn and sharing bathroom facilities with other guests. It was a bit disconcerting. The room was comfortable and clean, but rather confining. Some outside sitting area or picnic table would have been nice.
It was a beautiful location. The staff that we had interaction with were very friendly.

United StatesEverything! the ad is a scam. the room shown to us as ours was in a stable redone and not anything at all like the images shown on the site. the room was not ventilated. hot. not clean. concrete floor. flies in the room. opened onto a long corrider next to an open horse ring with two horses in it so the room and area smelled of horse dung. shared bathroom was literally all the way down at other end of stable hallway not even near the room. also u must drive on a dirt road for 15 miles to get to the property. this was not even mentioned in the booking ad. the whole experience was terrible and disappointing. we left and found another place. no refund even partial was offered
scenic location and grounds beautiful BUT where our room was was Totally different than images on Booking site. The images on the ad are for a completely different facility.

CanadaRoom was small. Bunk beds. How does a 76 year old male get up to the top bunk? Staff was eager and very friendly. But they essentially handed us our towels and left us alone. One pillow, no soap or shampoo in bathroom , no checking in with us… poor directions to ranch. No obvious phone number for Montana ranch…
Great location. Lovely staff. Staff went out of their way when we were lost.

United StatesI don't have any complaints. I got everything I could ask for out of this place and I highly recommend staying here.
The place was amazing, the view is breathtaking, the starlet sky at night is gorgeous, all the windows, the heated floors, just everything. I would love to stay in the warmer months so I can do one of the hikes. There was a full moon for a good part of our stay and made for some awesome pictures.

United StatesI was heartbroken when we found out that our room was in the barn?! Apparently that information is listed on their website, but not here, so that was incredibly misleading. My husband and I have hay & horse allergies so it was less than ideal. The room was super dusty & there were dead bugs all over the floor and windows. We had to physically remove several live moths and spiders from the bed and surfaces. The whole stay felt incredibly isolating because most of the amenities listed on booking are in the main lodge. I also tried to contact their booking manager to see if we could move rooms and we never heard back. So rule of thumb. Don't stay in the stables unless you can entertain yourself with a shared kitchen, bathroom, and pre-downloaded videos on your phone/ipad or you want to spend a boatload on activities at the ranch. It's a unique experience for sure, but not the one I was hoping for.
