It was a little worn, lots of paint and caulk. Yard was not nicely maintained like surrounding neighbors.. backyard was dirt and yard debris. Construction wood and broken things. Garbage was overflowing in garbage carts. Recycling cardboard boxes too big, sticking out. Overflow in ground.. Critters had gotten into trash. Inside house had like 12 rooms and 6 bathrooms. Three kitchens of various sizes. It felt very boarding house esque The curtain fell off the wall, shortly after I arrived..

The price. It was clean, but boarding house kinda funky. International and traveling nurses there during my stay.. Walkable to breakfast spot for Sunday brunch and local Saturday night karaoke bar.

I didn’t like that I booked a room for three and got a room that slept only 2. The bathroom was not clean and the shower wasn’t working and I was not told this before hand. I had to email them to find out where to take a shower.

It was cozy and my and I had no disturbances during our stay. The staff was also friendly and responsive.

Bed was not that comfortable as it was very firm. I would recommend you bring an extra pillow if you’re staying with some else.

Make sure to follow the instructions in any emails they send you so that you do not disturb anyone else staying there. Upon arrival, I went to the front door instead of the back door like it said in the email and it caused a bit of conflict with someone. As long as everyone is considerate, respectful and picks up after themselves, The Madison is a very lovely, peaceful stay that I would recommend anyone, especially solo travelers.

I stayed in The 'Office.' For just me, the loft was great and I loved that the couch could convert to a bed. Be sure to bring hangers for your clothes! They really let you make yourself at home. Don't be shy and really make use of common areas. The local businesses are very friendly and there are some beautiful art galleries within walking distance as well. Lots to preoccupy yourself with if you are alone.

Parking was weird, but I drive a massive van so that isn't anyone's fault. If you're coming through in a big truck or van, parking is in the back in the alley and it's tight, but doable!

People were very nice and it was comfortable, also can't complain about the price. I would stay here again. 😊

I didn't like nothing at all it was just a small room with a bed nothing else.would not recommended.

I didn't like nothing basically a room with a queen bed that didn't fit in the room . I asked it will be four of us and they said no problem. THE PICTURE ON THE ADVERTISEMENT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE WHAT YOU ARE BOOKING .SO I WOULD JUST STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE LIKE I DID.

I could not get in my room. The code I was given did not work. No one answered the phone number I called and no one identified themselves as someone who could help me. I had to leave and get other accommodations. I would like a refund. It was horrible.

I didn’t really have any issues here at all and anything that I needed like figuring out how the heat worked or how to do certain things were shown to me immediately and were resolved as soon as I asked.

Firstly the staff and the people staying here all all incredible. Every issue or request I had was resolved immediately. It has a very homey feel while still maintaining amenities like a hotel would. Everyone is very friendly and when there is an issue they are open to just talking about it and resolving it without any conflict or difficulties. Beautiful area, big park just down the block, great for animals, and everyone treated my mischievous little kitty like the good girl she only is part of the time. Haha no this place is excellent and I would recommend to anyone who needs a cheap nice place to stay for a while.
