Very old room, bathroom was terrible

The room is literally a bait and switch. Booking.com shows you this luxury room ,and you get an out of date shoebox with an extremely uncomfortable bed.

The staff was excellent, the location is wonderful as well

Good position. Handy to Times Square and theatres. Able to walk to most places.

1 - Room. When I got in the room there were no towels at all. I needed to call to front desk to ask to someone bring to me. 2 - Bed. The mattress was old, so part of it was with some inclination.

Location is excellent. It's on Times Square, easy to find and you can access many parts of the town from there. Very easy.

Bed, hard as a rock. No AC. Room smelled stuffy, humid, bad.

Bonus coffee ticket on checkout good. Location is a plus. Lots of places to eat close to the hotel.

I didn't like the fact that the pictures online didn't look anything like the hotel especially tge rooms. I understand it is a historic hotel but the rooms just gave an old bedroom feel

I booked with breakfast including. The breakfast was very disappointing as the hotel provided one muffin, one fruit and one small pack of corn flakes . It’s not full breakfast per se.

The Manhattan is as expected for a 3 star hotel. It is tidy, clean and very basic. The front desk staff are pleasant. It's an ideal hotel for anyone on a budget who expects to be out and about all day long. The WIFI is hit and miss so if you are planning to work you might have to consider working elsewhere.

Cleanliness of upholstery could be better The late check out policy was USD 100 per hour which is unreasonable compared to other hotels i have stayed in A neon sign right outside my window was slightly disturbing but i slept okay

I haid to wait 5 hours for my room, then had to climb 7 floors to access my room and then in the morning another guest lands up at my room as he was alotted it even though I was the occupant of the room

It was a great location for Broadway, and convenient for Uptown and Downtown.

The elevator was very dirty the first day. The hallway carpet was totally worn out and the walls badly need to be painted. The room furniture was worn out but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom tub was worn out and the bathroom sealing showed major water damage. No excuss for the added fees. This was not a resort!

the day we checked in, the hotel indicated there was smoke so the fire brigade had to do a check which took a very long time, while we had just arrived from a long flight and needed rest and refresh. On the day we checked out, the water was off and we had to wait a long time, finally the shower could be used for bathing. Old building.

The original rooms are very dated and wall paper is pealing, holes in walls. The new room are decorated to a good standard, however due to the new laminate flooring and gaps under doors, it is very very noisy!! Impossible to sleep even with ear plugs in.

The staff were absolutely outstanding, given how busy they were, they did not fail to make you feel like the only person there. The location of hotel was perfect. The beds are super comfortable.
