NOT every room has a KITCHENETTE and I REALLY hope this comment helps whoever is hoping for one. When I found out that there wasn't a kitchen in my suite, I came back to this page to read the details of every single room, so apparently, yes, they only stated kitchens for the rooms that had them. However, what I find so shocking is that the one bedrooms have kitchens while the two bedrooms don't. I booked the biggest suite because this listing came up while I searched for accommodation for a kitchen, and who would have thought that the biggest suite was the one without a kitchen? This truly was so out of the norm, I cannot help but feel like there should be a line of warning in capital letters on the top of the booking description. I do not feel that this is purely my oversight. Another issue is that I was told there are no laundry facilities when I asked guest service, which also surprised me because my impression was that there were laundry facilities. I also saw the cleaning lady folding newly cleaned sheets so they obviously had them, it's just not open to guests... Later when I looked back on this booking page, I found in the Q&A section of this page that there are laundry facilities 0_0, so I did not remember wrong, that is actual written evidence of inaccurate claims on this listing. If anyone is here for a short weekend getaway, these things I mentioned probably don't affect you at all, and since everything else was great I would say come anyways. I however was on a road trip and really hoped for kitchen and laundry facilities. So I wish they were more clear about all of these things, and whoever actually need kitchen and laundry facilities, you've been warned.

This hotel is truly the picturesque Palm Spring Barbie Dream house exactly as I dreamt, and you get a lovely view facing a mountain sunset with palm trees. The pool facilities had perfect temperatures. Despite the rooms not having chairs there are many in the courtyard and if you want to eat, the courtyard is a wonderful place for that and so is the common area. The check-in app also worked well and was very quick, loved the idea. There is a number you can call if you need help, you may have to wait a bit because the phone number is not just for this one place but a bunch of other Avantstay accommodations, but they are pretty responsive. Another thing I found surprisingly pleasant was that because it's in a neighborhood, you are not allowed to be loud as I worried some other guests might be in typical spring break fashion. Anyways, sometimes you might have a neighbor that plays some music, but for the most part, this hotel is not going to get party loud due to its location, so you can come here for a quiet getaway.

Our only criticism would be that the hot water didn’t last long in the shower. It only ran for a minute and then went cold. Big inconvenience. If they fixed that we wouldn’t have any problems.

The pool area was great, we loved that there was a hot tub as well as a pool. We were able to use the community room, which was very comfortable, the bed was comfortable.

Found there were not a lot of places to put things in the bathrooms which were kitschy cool mid mod. Place felt well used for gatherings and wasn't squeaky clean in all the corners due to the age of the unit.

LIked the size of the property and the boutique feel of the place. Rooms were large with basic comfort furnishings a la IG influencer which was ok, and not trying to be super comfort experiences. The retro boho thing works for this property that is older.

The lock for one of the rooms could use to be replaced. Luckily we had another door we could use. Also, we were under the impression there were some kitchen supplies, but didn’t find anything in the lobby. Not sure if it was just us..? Otherwise everything was great!

The hotel was not as pictured. Facilities were dirty, our shower didn't have any soap, the bathroom didn't even have hand soap at the sink. Sinks did not drain. Glitter and leftover decorations were in our room from the previous stay. The shower/bathroom was gross and moldy. The pool area was dirty. We ended up leaving early because we couldn't stomach staying any longer. When submitting our complaints, we were refunded $57. What a joke.

They don’t have any trash cans besides the bathroom which I think would be nice to add. The fire pit didn’t work tried multiple times but wouldn’t turn on. And lastly the bathroom door was weird because the door was mainly connected to the closet area and not by the toilet but it’s just a minor thing.

I like that it’s very close in so you have privacy from other locations. The room was big and had a kitchen and it included a fridge, stove, microwave and the tv was flat screen which is nice. It was quiet which was good and it also had a patio which you can enjoy a little time outside if you don’t wanna go to the front by the pool. The bed was very comfortable and everything was beyond nice. The price you pay is what you pay which I like. Overall would stay again.
