How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was awesome, such a fun atmosphere. Great rooftop bar and excellent if you're going to the pageant for a show! I will definitely stay agin!

No room on the sink ledge for all our "stuff," but it was only a one-night stay, so no worries. Toilet was so low, a child would have felt comfortable using it (we're both >6' tall.)
The location of the hotel to the venue (Delmar Hall) cannot be beat. Bed was deliciously comfortable. Front desk staff was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Elevator key & room safe made us feel secure.

Online hours for the restaurant say it's open until 130 am. I planned to go there after a show and it was closed at 11 pm.
Beautiful and spacious room. Very comfortable bed.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. It was a superb experience.
Everything, it was one of the best places we have ever stayed. From the parking to the staff and facilities. We will definitely use again.

Everything was great. Fun hotel. The only drawback was the restaurant wasn’t open and I didn’t have anything for breakfast.
Convenient parking. Lots of restaurants a close walk away. Rooftop bar.

The only thing bad was the weather but can’t hold that against them.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. All the food we ate at the Eclipse restaurant was good. There’s a lot of things to see on the Delmar loop.

Moonrise has a very quirky, fun vibe, but this borders on unprofessionalism at times. The front desk is hit and miss in terms of properly greeting guests with a helpful smile. It is often cluttered with papers and boxes fully open to view. The valet parkers and security people are hanging out on their phones in the lobby or chatting with different folks. It's impossible to distinguish them from other hotel guests are people who've come in off the street!
Moonrise is always an excellent stay--very spacious, clean rooms, with nice practical and asesthetic touches. If you don't want to pay for Valet parking, you can park for free the next lot over--just another 50 yard walk or so.

Needing to pay 20 dollars to have secured parking.
We loved the theme, and the room was very nice. We loved that it's very close to the pageant and Delmar Hall and other venues nearby.

Bathroom wallpaper caked with dirt around toilet. First pulled up this room at $1600 for 5 days. Didn’t get cc entered in time. Went back for same deal it was almost $2000. Nothing left in town because of eclipse. They captured my ip and recognize it again and decide to rip me off for another $400.

Pet area outside the front door was pitiful. But lots of grassy area just across the street to the right.
Great location - love the space theme. Rooms were clean and comfortable. View of the city from the room and roof top bar. Dog friendly. Staff were very nice.

Wifi wasn't very fast and a bit patchy. Room cleaning was a bit inconsistent.
Location and chilled out atmosphere. Room facilities fine. Good to have safe. Staff very helpful replacing iron quickly when asked.

The size of the hair conditioner was inadequate to condition my hair, which is long and thick. Next time, though, I will be sure to ask for more.
The location, the hotel food, and the room itself were all lovely and clean. Having such a nice hotel that also accommodated our small, well-behaved dog was especially nice for us.

Our room didn't have anything to sit in outside of a desk chair and a stool. Felt like my only option was to get back into bed.
Enjoyed the location as we attended a concert at Delmar Hall, so we had an easy walk to the venue. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the roof top bar. Valet parking a plus!
