Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location was PERFECT! The hotel is near many trains and within walking distance to so much. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We ran into an issue, which they profusely apologized for and provided us with free breakfast for the following morning. Upon finding out that we did not use the free breakfast, they instead took $50 off our stay. Great customer service! I loved hearing the history of the hotel too!

this is a well-located lovely historic building. I walked all over town. Saw all the historic stuff, and art museums. Loved the Reading Central Market being so close by.

United StatesThe guests on our floor were yelling until 11:30 at night. I called guest services three times. Each time I was told they would have security come up, but I never heard any one come.
The staff were very welcoming. Our room was clean, and location was the best! Right in the heart of down town. The history on the hotel was interesting as well. I would stay there again.

My boyfriend said he wanted to stay here since last year, (before we met). He said he stayed elsewhere but always heard great things about this hotel. I booked our weekend stay here for his birthday and it was amazing. I literally have no complaints about anything! This will be the only hotel we stay at when we visit Philly. He is a huge Eagles fan so we will definitely be returning throughout football season.

1) Khalia was so helpful, and she made us feel safe, appreciated and welcomed! she told us everything about the property.
