The view rooms are on the street side so you can hear the traffic, the garden view rooms looked like a better choice. The room is a bit bright in the morning. You have to go downstairs for breakfast, can't bring food up to the room. The cookies left out the night before for guests were stale.

This place does have a lot of old fashioned charm. It was easy to find parking and the staff members were very friendly. The patio is lovely. The room was pretty but a bit small, it was hard to find a place to put our bags. The view of the bay was not that great, mostly telephone poles, I think the garden view would be better. We liked the fireplace for heat, and the two chairs to sit in. The coffee is excellent. The breakfast was good but odd, being a croissant with tomato, avocado and hard boiled egg, seemed like lunch. You can easily walk to the water. Great location!

Not much of a choice. A nice egg casserole and diced fruit with muffins or toast would have been better. Cook was friendly and helpful but just bare minimums.

Cold hard boiled eggs set out without ice. French toast was great but I can't have bread...no other real options. Coffee espresso machine was great.

Our only complain was the squeaky bed, even a small move would make sound.

The location was perfect for visiting Monterey and for walking along the front in Pacific Grove.

Bathroom in Crows Nest was fine but could use some updating. Breakfast could start a little earlier than 8:30.

Location is outstanding within easy walking distance to Monterey, PC and trails.

Nothing we didn’t like.

Beautiful, graceful, well kept old Victorian with decor, charm and personnel to match. Location was fantastic, the hotel was spacious and very welcoming. Enjoyed the custom cooked breakfast and excellent service. We will come back :)

Room window shades didn’t filter outside light.

Excellent responsive staff, wonderful individually prepared breakfasts, proximity to walking paths to town and ocean, nicely restored inn.

It’s a lovely place to stay, excellent place and delicious breakfast. It’s close to the waters so you can take a stroll along the bay.

Our room did not have a TV but games were available. We spent more time engaging with each other and away from technology.

The location was great and an easy walk to the water. Angela was wonderful and so helpful during our stay. The breakfast was wonderful on both mornings we were there. The bathroom in our room had a jacuzzi.

I've never felt so well taken care of during a travel stay. From Angela's friendliness for my early check in, all of the snacks and drinks available around-the-clock, the cozy and gorgeous ambience, etc. I will return.

The room was a bit musty and the shower grout is in serious need of some attention.

Favorite thing - location. Very walkable to downtown PG and the oceanside trail is a block away. The garden is an excellent place to relax and the breakfasts were good. The staff are very kind and accommodating.

The room doesn't have any small table to put some of your staff. But it's a minor detail. Everything was clean and with really good taste in decoration

Customer service (all the staff are willing to help and make your stay perfect) The location is great, quite are and it is just one block away of the most beautiful ocean view and beach trail.
