Price was a little high for what was received. Side beach area was not available twice in our stay. I understand private parties and events however if what you advertise is not available Pier House should adjust price for the rest of us. You shouldn’t advertise what you are not able to provide.

The beach attendant seemed like he was always on his phone.

The location was great for the local tourist spots and dining. I loved how I was minutes walking distance to all the great spots but as soon as I walked into the resort it was like a mini oasis!

Because the beach was so small, there is little privacy. The bathroom in the room didn’t have a fan or AC as I’ve found to be common in these older FL spots, but is a terrible design flaw.

Location, location, location. On the water with one of the few “beaches” and quick access to Sunset Pier. On Duval Street and close to all the restaurants, bars and shops. Nice hike to the southernmost point. Parking at the hotel. Huge balconies with ocean view. All staff was very nice. Beautiful walkways between the buildings.

The room on the ground floor left a little to be desired. Smelled musty & moldy. We had febreeze that we used constantly. It was directly beside the ice machine and across from the custodial staff, so rather noisy very early.

We had 2 rooms. One on the 2nd floor was amazing. View was great. Beach area and pool areas were very nice.

For the amount of money spent. I was disappointed in the appearance of hotel. Paint was not uniform and had visible large patches of paint on exterior walls. There was a broken tile in our bathroom. Also, it was disappointing that they did not have live music on Sunday afternoon. We asked and staff told us because it was Sunday no music. Outside Bar closed at 9pm which was disappointing for Key west.

I loved the peacefulness of the hotel. The location was amazing. The landscape was beautiful. The restaurant was delicious for breakfast. The beach is great being that many hotels do not have access to that . The view - perfect!

It would have been nice if there had been a shuttle of some sort from the airport that serviced the resorsts located in that area. Taxi cost was 18 bucks one way.

Loved the view of the ocean from our room. Everything was handy,bar, beach etc.

Only two complaints….. Rooms seemed very clean other than tile floors. Had I not been barefoot all the time, I would not have realized how black my feet were from my room floor every day. You really notice it when you just get out of the shower and your feet are soon black though you never leave your room. Beach bar service typically didn’t extend to chairs and umbrellas set up on the water in front of the building, though I specifically asked twice. There was a female 2 days who took great care of us but males did not seem to bother going to that area on their days, though it’s part of their chair and umbrella area set up. Not a huge deal to walk yourself to the bar for food, drinks, or water, but you pay a $56 resort fee each day to include that service. I heard others complaining about that, especially older people who didn’t want to have to get up.

The room doors slammed and made a lot of noise, the guest adults (no family) pretending to be at an all adult resorts.

Hallways need directional signs. Confusing due to layout of building.

Comfortable rooms, great beds (no sink holes) balcony and bonus. Amenities / pool beach etc. a bonus.

I received a text stating the room was ready, I checked in and got the room key and directions. When we got to the room the door was ajar and just beginning to be cleaned. We waited outside at least 15 minutes (I have a handicapped person in my party) while the woman called for reinforcements. I was very disappointed that we were sent to a room that was not ready. In the morning there was a man painting from the balcony next to mine. It did not feel as private as it should have been.

No cold water the whole stay, only hot water. They said a pump was broken. Didn’t apologize, moved us or did anything about it. The AC is pretty bad and are weak wall units. The bathroom never gets cool and stays warm because the AC is not powerful. This is a $700/day room, I expect everything to be impeccable. Most $150/day are much better than this. The location alone doesn’t justify this price.

The pool and hot tube closed at 7pm... wished it had been open til 9pm after a long day of walking a hot tube would have been nice to relax in before bed
