Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right by central park and 5th avenue. The staff were always helpful and pleasant. We had an excellent room configuration for our family (executive suite interconnecting to a king superior, which gave us three bedrooms and three bathrooms) and although our rooms did not have a view, the rooms were very clean and well equipped. We did not spend much time in the hotel, so did not use the restaurants or other facilities.

India1. Staff at the restaurant Perinine specially one person whose name I forget. We went for breakfast only once during our 6 night stay. This person overcharged us for a cup of tea which was included in the American breakfast I chose. However he charged 13 dollars separately for the tea and when asked he told that ordinary tea, coffee, etc was included but not masala tea which I had ordered! 13 dollars won’t make me poor or Ratan Tata rich - so I didn’t pursue the matter further. We went for lunch with some guests the next day and the same person insisted on first showing us the menu before offering us a seat. I was quite pissed off and left the restaurant for a nearby Indian place. Overall quite bad experience on both days that we visited the restaurant. 2. Whenever we ordered in room service a 10 dollar charge was added to the bill as cover charges which we were told were the charges for bringing the food to the room. That’s OK. But this has to be a flat rate and not a rate per dish. We ordered for 3 dishes one day and this charge was increased to 30 dollars- 10 dollars per dish. I mean the hotels send everything once so why have a charge per dish! 3. We had booked a suite for 3 guests. The charges for the suite for 3 guests was more than that for 2 guests. So it was my understanding that an extra bed for the 3rd guest would be included in the room charges. Nothing was mentioned during booking also or hotel site also that the an extra bed would be chargeable even though we had paid for 3 guests. However a charge of 50 dollars per night was charged for the extra bed! I think this was unreasonable - either charge the same rate for the suite whether for 2 or 3 guests and then charge separately for the extra bed or if hotel has already charged extra for 3 guests then why charge again for an extra bed? 4. At the time of check out the lady checking us out was quite cold - Crystal was her name. Couldn’t reply properly to certain queries.
1. Check in was great. Room was upgraded to a room supposedly with a better view. But there was no view from room 835 which was given to us. However the one and a half bathroom compensated for it. 2. Hotel amenities are awesome. 3. Staff are extra friendly. 4. Concierge were very polite and super helpful. There is nothing they don’t know. Special mention of Abraham and Toby(if I remember correctly)

United KingdomView was ok. We'd booked a park view and it was limited to one edge. We had quite a lot of building and roofs in our view.
Location of hotel is perfect! Stunning surroundings and close to the metro. Staff were incredible, including providing an anniversary gift of wine/cake to the room - this really made the day special! Amenities and cleanliness were incredible!

United StatesMy phone beside bed didn't work. Some staff were rude. Room service they brought only enough for one person I had a guest and I had told them. When I asked for more toiletries it took a long time. Also the guests next door were VERY LOUD.
I checked in for a two day stay. I was in town to see a concert. I loved the restaurant in hotel.

Indiathe hotel needs some renovation. The view was sad as it was overlooking the under-renovation part of the hotel.
Old World Charm, the elevator cars which make you feel like you are transported to 60's. The staff were nice and friendly.
