Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe only thing that we didn’t like, and this is purely from a personal point, is that the mattresses were too soft for us.
Probably the friendliest, warmest welcome we have ever received at a hotel. Kara,Dan and the rest of the team were amazing with advice to us as first time visitors to Savannah. The 16 room property was built in 1855 and retains a real southern hospitality, a real homely feel. We had a “traditional double “ room on the ground floor. Very spacious with two beds, table and chairs, wardrobe, dressing table and a lovely fireplace. Bathroom with shower over bath. There was no fridge in our particular room ,however we were provided with plenty of ice from the kitchen for our cool box. Some rooms are pet friendly and our room was also wheelchair friendly for guests requiring an accessible room. Tea and coffee available in the morning and complementary wine and soft drinks available for happy hour early evening. Breakfasts are amazing and huge , so have a big appetite. Lovely outdoor seating and gazebo, free parking in hotel grounds. The location is beautiful in a residential area , a short and lovely walk into the town which is quite busy so it was nice to be staying in a more peaceful environment. Would recommend the hop on/hop off trolley tour and one of the stops is directly outside . The hotel will provide you with a discount voucher and arrange for a transfer to the main trolley depot. Lots of history to this lovely part of Georgia so the trolley tour is worth considering.

United StatesI was informed major changes are on the way.. this is a huge mistake.. the place is perfect don’t change anything.
It’s a great property (our 2nd stay) with a classic home away from home feel… I was EXTREMELY disappointed to learn they are going to completely renovate soon and build on… this will destroy what this place is about for us… we probably won’t return for this reason.

Really enjoyed our stay. Kara and the staff were all so friendly and.accomodating. Our room was ready early, which was very convenient. The room was clean, cozy and decorated so nicely. Comfy bed too! The breakfast was delicious and a great start to our morning of sight-seeing. The location was perfect, close to everything! Also, their parking lot was a huge plus. Once we parked, we walked everywhere and didn't have to worry about finding parking anywhere. Highly recommend anyone to stay. We certainly hope to be back again.

United StatesWould have liked coffee or tea in the afternoon. Wine was available at 5:30 p.m.
Our room was very spacious, with a balcony over-looking the patio. The breakfast differed each day, with one hot item or the continental bowl. It was made to order and quite ample. Loved the crab Benedict! All of the staff were so pleasant and very helpful. The location was ideal. We walked everywhere or took advantage of the free DOT shuttle bus. Will definitely stay there again when we return to Savannah.

United StatesI loved the historical feel of the Inn. Free parking and the Inn is in the perfect spot to explore Savannah by foot. We had the most amazing breakfasts, and everyone at the front desk was caring and helpful. This Inn is old and has lots of historical things around it, so like any hotel, it can be noisy. Bring airplugs for the perfect nights sleep. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio for wine hour 💕

United StatesThe bed! I loved this hotel very much. It is charming, centrally located in the historic district, serves delicious breakfast and has wonderful staff. I read the hotel is going to go through a remodel this spring and the owners are aware of the uncomfortable beds. Would have been a 10/10 if better bed.
Breakfast was wonderful especially eating it in the quaint courtyard. Also loved the wine hour. The staff helped us feel welcomed. They provided information on the local area and were very friendly.
