Some of the bathrooms are looking a little old. The tubs probably need refinishing. The ice buckets are plastic and it would help if they were insulated. I also suggest they hire an attendant for breakfast and provide eggs and meat as well as the offerings there now.

You can request an early check in. The location is great. You have an inland waterway, a pool, and a hot tub all in one place. The ocean is just down the road. There are places to eat close by and several deliver. There’s also a small grocery store. I love the waterfront room, when I can afford it. If not, some of the rooms on the side, have partial water views. The staff there is very accommodating. If you call the hotel directly, they will do their best to help you get what you need. They have made some improvements in the last year and are under new management. They just put new beach umbrellas out by the pool to provide some shade. And they put new flooring in the rooms and took up the carpeting, which was a huge improvement. Sunsets are amazing most nights. I was in room 302. The bed and pillows great. Between soft and hard, right in the middle.It is a suite, so it has a sofa bed that pulls out. The sofa was comfortable. The breakfast is continental, and the coffee was probably the best thing. I will definitely stay again. It’s a 2 Hour drive from where we live and it’s easy to get to.

One slight gripe is security. There were two side doors where the stairs came out at. My son and I fished late one night and came back to the room at about 11pm and to my surprise we were able to walk right in using that side door. That really needs to be addressed.

We are brand snobs when it comes to hotels so admittedly we were a bit nervous about staying here. There really was nothing to be nervous about! The check in process was easy, the hotel and room was extremely clean, beds were good, the staff was pleasant, and the free breakfast offered plenty of options to keep us happy for the two days we were there. The location was really cool on the inlet with a nice little beach and super nice pier that we fished off of. We would absolutely stay here again.

Breakfast used to have sausage eggs… this time seemed very bland.. not a huge selection .. No bottle water for breakfast. I mean it water… lol

Love the location, amenities. I see they redid the floors in the rooms, that was nice. Needed more towels in the bathroom. Need beach towels in the rooms.

Quite basic and a bit shabby - the 2 star rating is appropriate.

Great location - you pay extra for a room overlooking the waterfront, but it’s worth it. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful.

Very weak and bad WiFi with very low upload and download.

The location is great with just a 10 minute walk to the beach and tiki bars. Plus the pool and deck going in to the river is a great way to relax and enjoy the Floridian heat.

there's som construction going on, room renovations. The room I had needs new carpet and some general fix up. Breakfast the first day looked like staff was just ignoring it. I had to tell a rather uninterested employee that the coffee was empty. she said she'd make more. Next day I got here really early. Some fruit would be nice.

I love the location. It's 15 minutes from my favorite beach in a fun, friendly area close to restaurants and downtown Ft Pierce.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, lovely room. lovely breakfast, the room had a balcony which is super helpful for hanging things to dry, staff were very kind and helpful, the design was lovely - we were sorry this hotel is not part of a chain of hotels, as we would definitely have booked it again in another location, if it was possible.

People smoking dope, the place stank of it!Water pressure was poor, showering was a bit of a trial with barely any pressure.

The place is more money than it used to be but with nothing at all like the charming and near-full breakfast that it used to offer, and the folks there not caring in the least that I was a former customer, etc. I was considering staying longer, say, in the future, but will not likely make this a place for a longer stay in the future. The mosquitos are, seemingly always a problem in Fort Pierce if not along the cost of this area, particularly, which I was disappointed in finding out is still the case, if, things haven't gotten even worse?! Good, hot coffee being offered is not always a given, but I found that to be the case in many hotels along the way. The microwave worked.

It's a good, central place to see the area and access calmer waters, being at the inlet/causeway of the intercoastal waterway, and the room, hotel and beds where fine. The leisure dock/deck extending out into the water behind the hotel was expansive, unique and a special treat. The pool was nice but someone seemed to let the water out, to a significant extent, when we were there, limiting our enjoyment to swimming in it, which I don't expect is a recurring problem
