Technology was fun to explore, but the basics of hospitality such as in room ice bucket and coffee machine were not installed. Auto toilets and switches were fun as embellishments, but basics were somewhat overlooked. Staff courteously provided a bucket of ice upon request and coffee was available in the lobby, but these two simple items would have been preferred to an in-room Alexa device that offers redundant functions to cell phone device. Overall, a fun and very unique stay!

The necessity to constantly use the panel to open the bathroom door was annoying. I never could figure out how to flush the toilet. I am not crazy about a shower without a door and spray from the shower spreading out onto the bathroom floor. One last thing: I was hoping to have a nice relaxing breakfast, but found out in the morning that the hotel really only serves dinner. And, White Sulphur Springs has no other nearby breakfast place but a Hardees. This was a big disappointment!

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We had an excellent meal at the Varsity Club Restaurant. Heather made great cocktails; the cranberry mule was very good! Scott took care of our reservation and made us feel welcome and Tyra was also friendly and professional. The prime rib was exceptional!

I think a boutique hotel should have at least some breakfast every day of the week. Especially since there is nothing else in the neighborhood. I would strongly recommend continental breakfast be available in the lobby every day of the week including coffee, juice and a few small food (uncooked) food items. Also I strongly recommend that you tell guests about this. We were told that there was brunch 12 - 3 and did not know that this was not available on Monday, as well.

The automatic bathroom door was sort of awkward to use. And it had a blinking blue light that was on all night to indicate that it was ready to open. Would have been nice if it could have stayed dark.

Restaurant and bar were wonderful. We'd been on the road for a month so it was nice to unwind. Room really comfy. We didn't spend any time in town so cannot speak to the location relative to White Sulphur Springs attractions.

Soundproofing between the rooms is lacking but I would stay there again.

The Varsity Club restaurant was GREAT!!!! We had two dinners there and they were outstanding and reasonably priced. Fitness room was clean and equiptment was like new. Lobby was clean and welcoming. Staff was super helpful. The roof top bar was great with the live entertainment. Beautiful views up there.

Friendly, extremely clean and very welcoming staff. We are in the restaurant which was very good and the burgers and hot dogs from the rooftop grill were superb! All staff were great but a special mention to Wendy and Corey. Although we didn’t need the ADA adaptations I can see how useful they would be if you did.

Not a coffee pot in the room

Met the owner who gave us history of the hotel. The staff was very accommodating; there is not a cookie cutter approach to the service. What every you need, they provide, you want breakfast; they ask you what you would like and they make it. Was a terrific experience

What a wonderful job they have done with renovations ! It’s a beautiful space. The food is excellent - as is the roof top bar - definitely worth a stop for sunset and the music. All the technology in the rooms may seem a little over the top….just read the instruction sheet ….it’s all easy ! Love the space! Thanks

Since it was a smart hotel all of the lights were connected and we couldn’t find a way to leave on 1 dim light for a night light.

Property was very clean and modern. It was a smart hotel which was super cool. We loved the rooftop bar.
