The immediate area isn't the most appealing, but within 10 minutes walk you can be at Ponce de Leon market which has a lot of food and drink options. The room was a little bit annoying to work with two suitcases (we were needing to unpack and repack sometimes) - it was a bit small and not configured that well for us, in so far it had masses of floor space near the toilet but not places to easily put our suitcases out of the way.

The Darwin felt very modern and fresh, with a quirky boutique kind of vibe. The staff were very friendly. It was great to have the outside courtyard area to get some air and enjoy the bar.

Check in and check out with ChYann was flawless. She recognized that this was our first stay at the Darwin. Made us feel very welcome. She was just as gracious when she handled our check out. True professional! Amanda, she was another professional at the bar. WOW, she was great! Engaging, enthusiastic, loved serving us. We love having her care for us.

The breakfast options were a bit limited, but if you are up for an excursion, there are great places to dine or grab a bite in the area. I would definitely visit this location again.

The staff was super helpful. The rooms were a bit cozy, but the interior design is thoughtful and perfect for a weekend stay. Technology is updated and the atmosphere fun and relaxing.

Rooms to Boulevard NE are a little bit loud, if you have problems sleeping with traffic sounds nearby.

Nice and modern hotel in a quiet neighborhood and near Ponce City Market. Parking lots directly in front of the hotel ($25 fee per night). Rooms are a little bit on the smaller side, but modernized and very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful :)

Perfectly clean. Staff was excellent. Parking lot was a small fee, but willing to pay extra for safe and secure parking. It was close to both of our events in two different directions. Check in/out was smooth and effortless. We were greeted and taken care of! Angel and Cheyenne were both friendly, well spoken, and welcoming. We will be back and were extremely pleased with out stay. We wanted to stay longer!

The only dislike I had was the shower floors , as they were a lil slippery. But otherwise it was such an awesome experience! I loved every moment I spent there !

I absolutely loved the vibe as you walked in with the beautiful music and friendly staff, it is such a beautiful place with such history brought into art. It have such a calm and relaxing atmosphere .

They shouldn’t charge for parking. The hotel would gain major bonus points if they did not…just add a couple dollars to the nightly rate. The dark blue carpet in the hallways is practical or attractive- it shows every speck of dirt and thus, gives the impression that the hotel is not clean. Wish the gym was a little bigger. It gets crowded easily. The bar is okay. I know they’re working on developing it.

The location is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and the highway. The staff is very nice and helpful. My room was quiet and comfortable. The barn door on the bathroom wasn’t great but not terrible. The gym is small but adequate. The outdoor courtyard is very nice!

Perhaps coffee makers and microwaves in the room would have been convenient, but that would not stop me from staying here. In the lobby is a coffee bar and microwave is located on the 2nd floor so it kind of got us out of our room earlier than we usually would have been, which was not a problem because it's such a good atmosphere.

I love that this hotel is not a large chain hotel. It's absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The decorating is phenomenal, a lot of history all over the place; however, it is still up to date with an artsy vibe. The courtyard area is beautiful, cozy, and inviting. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is amazing. They are very personable and friendly. They are always willing to help you with whatever you may need. The location is great. I do not think that we will ever stay at any other place in Atlanta. We will always come back to this hotel.

Upon check- In we were greeted by a lively and lovely young woman named Angel. She was courteous, pleasant and professional. She tried her best to put me and my friend on the same floor and although we weren’t able to she got us close. She had great conversation and made us feel very welcomed.
