We were supposed to check in at 3:00 pm. Our room was not ready. The desk agent said our room was to be #401, and he was going to text me when it was ready. No text, no phone call, nothing! I waited and arrived at 4:00 pm and was told our room just became available and we were switched to #301. Not a good experience!

This is one of Columbia's pricier hotels but with fewer amenities. Valet parking at $18 per night and no complimentary breakfast. Small in-room refrigerator but you have to remove all of the hotel drinks (that they want you to purchase) to use it. Bathtub/shower combo seriously needs a grab bar.

Lovely hotel in downtown Columbia. Room was clean and quiet. Nice large bathtub if you're into that. Tiger Hotel is my choice if I feel like splurging.

Gym--lack of equipment and incredibly hot.

Loved everything about this hotel (except the gym)! The hotel was quaint, well kept, staff was wonderful, and in a perfect location! Also, the breakfast at Glenn's was wonderful!

I couldn’t get either TV in our suite to work and neither could by 19/20 year old kids who are very adept at that. “No signal” no matter what you changed the input to. There were no pillows and sheets for pull-out sofa bed anywhere in the room so we had to call down for them very late. On a positive note, when we did, they were very prompt and friendly.

Nice, big, clean suite. Historic building in a great neighborhood in Columbia just next to campus.

Prices much higher than other area hotels. They raise rates exponentially on special weekends for the university so that only on weekdays is it ever reasonably priced

Rooms and bathrooms very large and spacious. Location in downtown is the best selling point. Connected taproom and Cafe, super convenient

There are only two elevators. They are small. One was out of service. Did not see clearly marked signage for fire exits.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Columbia. Looks to have been recently renovated. Room was large, comfortable. Walking distance to many restaurants, stores, etc. My wife absolutely LOVED their oversized bathtub - and took full advantage of it. Hotel staff were helpful, attentive, friendly.

Great location for a night in Columbia. Great room with a comfy bed and a beautiful view, although the best feature had to be the tub. It was the perfect way to relax after running around the city all day.

Lobby bathroom was not very clean and had no toilet paper or paper towels. The carpets throughout the hotel needed vacuuming.

great location, had a great coffee shop, taproom and Glen’s Cafe was excellent. Hotel had lots of character and old charm. Convenient and inexpensive parking across the street in a parking garage.

no towels! called down and they said they had none clean. when they brought some 3 hours later they only brought two. found cleaning lady and got some from her.

The front desk boy forgot and put down our room as occupied, and stupidly gave the same room number to some man. That was unacceptable. On our room we had do not disturb lit up on the outside, but the man entered anyway.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff is very friendly. Very calming ambiance as well. I really liked the drinks at the Vault. Everything was great.

We need a walk-in shower for safety.

We were disappointed that the Executive King room did not have a walk in shower, just tub with a shower. We have stayed here several times and always had a shower, sometimes with a separate walk-in shower. As we get older, it is more dangerous to shower in a tub. For this quality room, we expect a walk in shower.

The college students drag racing up and down the street til 4:00am.

The staff was friendly and professional, room service was awesome and my breakfast was delicious.....I loved it!!!

The fellow at the front desk was extremely bothered by us. He had a book there and did not want to be pestered and we felt we were an imposition to him. We had to ask several times for things. Like our paid for food voucher among other things. We had no idea where to go for ice for our room and decided not to bother him again, so we went without. Later we heard him give an extensive run down to another lodger, so not sure what was going on. The valets, however, were excellent. It would be nice to have a few thin pillows on the beds. We both cannot sleep with fat ones. The room was very very clean but there was a wad of hair on the shower shelf. My daughter was not happy about that, but I just threw it away :)

The location was perfect for us. Breakfast inside the building was great. The room was lovely! The beds were comfortable. The morning view was amazing.
