We didn’t get attacked by bugs or varmints. Otherwise it was memorable for all the wrong reasons.

The quality was not there for the price. The commode seat was loose. The TV didn’t work. Furnishings were beyond tired. There was littleeffort shown to invest in the property.

    The location was excellent.

The location is excellent - with quick walking distance to Main Street, cafes and restaurants, marina, and of course, the Baseball Hall of Fame. Easy access to the trolley to take us to the other museums in town. Very clean B and B and helpful manager.

Parking in and around town was atrocious. The hotel manager (?) helped with the parking for while we were at the hotel.

The location was the best part. The building clearly has some history behind it.

Some of the furnishings are a bit dated, but the room was comfortable. The bathroom was small but adequate.

We’ve stayed a few times and were disappointed that there was no longer breakfast or off street parking. My son also was bummed that unlike every other time, no miniature bats.

The soap/shampoo provided for the shower was a small packet - it was not convenient to open in the shower and the amount was not really enough.

Nice comfortable facilities, convenient parking, outstanding location just off of Main Street in the center of shops, restaurants, and a very short walk to the Hall of Fame. Really great experience.

The decor is drab, dark, and very dated. The carpet in the room is overdue for replacement. I didn't mind the uneven floors, since I understand the building dates back to 1807.

The Inn is located right in the heart of Cooperstown. Check in was easy and once we parked in their lot, we were able to walk to every place along Main St, as well as the waterfront park. The room was spacious and I was happy they granted my request for a 2 twin beds, rather than the queen room I initially booked. The bed was comfortable.

Would lave liked stronger light for reading, and in lobbies and halls as well. Room door key didn’t lock door to room and there was never anybody around to tell; probably couldn’t have been remedied anyway. (Room did lock okay from inside room using deadbolt). Nevertheless, a little nervous making. Never could find a street map of Cooperstown — there used be a variety available (probably C of C issue, but tell them). Maybe nice to have coffee (good coffee) and a few pastries available in hotel itself in the morning, as cafes get crowded early.

We’ve stayed at at Tunnicliff before, so we knew it was old fashioned, floors and stairs not in best repair, parking tight. However, beds are comfortable, bathroom and water and air conditioner (though noisy)work well. Location very handy for walking in center of town and near restaurants. For the price, maybe you could afford to have another staff person readily available — to help with bags on stairs, for instance? Restaurant in basement is not inviting, but food was okay and hardworking waitress was good and pleasant.

Online reviews mentioned an online breakfast facility. This is NOT true; however, this is not a problem at all as you can easily walk to a number of restaurants.

Great location with easy access to everything. Staff was able to upgrade our reservation, which was appreciated. Building is older and very historical.

The room was very hot without a thermostat and required the A/C to be activated in order to offset the heat. All the amenities like soaps, shampoos were cheap. Bathroom and shower was very small. TV was difficult to operate, The price was very high as compared to competition and the room was said to be an upgrade but was disappointing. There was no breakfast or even coffee in the morning. As we only stayed one night it did not matter but we were told that the beds were not made or the room was not cleaned on a daily basis. We were told that it was to be our safe space. If the price was lower I would say Ok but they are charging a premium price. I would not recommend.

We try to stay at locally owned Historic Inns when we travel. this Inn was well located and was historic. It was clean and the bed and bedding was adequate.
