There's not really anything that I was disappointed with. The rooms and bed were clean. The bed was decently comfortable. It takes a bit of time for the water to heat up. But oh well, a couple of minutes later, you have a nice hot shower with good pressure. I would stay here again when we're in the area.

This place was perfect for us for our two night stay. It was in a great location for us. It's in a quiet, old town. It's nothing really special looking on the outside, but I had trusted the reviews on Booking, and I'm glad I did. The lady at check in was very nice, and said hello anytime I saw her on the property. But we were left alone other than that. The room was good size and clean. Having a microwave and fridge is very nice. It was nice and quiet at night, and I slept well. They left us 3 bottles of complimentary water, which is a first for me, and I travel around a lot. Oh and the price...can't forget that! For the price, this motel is a great value!

The decor was a bit old-fashioned but comfort and cleanliness are worth way more!

Our room was an end unit and was nice and big. It was very clean. They had bottled water in the fridge complimentary and brought us extra towels. They were very friendly and helpful.

The village of Richfield Springs is a bit of a food dessert after 4 or 5 pm, not too many places for a traveler to eat if you work past 6, so plan to eat elsewhere. If you're desperate, there's one Chinese take-out place within walking distance on the main drag where, humorously, it seems you have to order food by item number and no menu changes are permitted. I got a giant vat of tofu in brown sauce which I ate back at my room out of the hotel Dixie cup. They do have chopsticks but you have to request them. There is also a bar, but I didn't go in it, and a pizza place of uncertain hours.

The Village Motel is clean and quiet and had rooms during the summer period when rooms closer to my worksite in Cooperstown (about 20 mins away) were expensive and in short supply. It appears to be a classic American "Mom and Pop" operation with both on site. It's not the Ritz, but I slept well and was awakened by the birds in the meadow behind my room in the morning. The morning drive to Cooperstown is beautiful and pastoral.

We traveled for baseball (Cooperstown), it was a bit of a drive probably 30 minutes out. The beds were not comfortable - would be my main con. We did book a few months in advance for our trip and were a little bummed that the price substantially dropped a week prior to our leaving.

Our room was clean and spacious. Parking very easy and convenient. Nancy absolutely fabulous! Anything we needed she was there. Check in quick and easy. We truly did like our stay there.

This is a bare-bones 50's style motel, which made it exactly what we wanted. It was comfortable, clean, a little old looking outside but in good order inside. If we return to Glimmerglass we'll certainly stay there again.

Shower curtain was stained with mold. We asked for another. Nancy brought it to the room but my husband had to change the shower curtain himself. Carpets could be cleaner too to avoid odors.

Nancy in the office was great. She gave us everything we needed.
