Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

They could have thicker pads for the lounge chairs and only one came in our room so my husband had to use a lounge chair with no padding which hurt his back. When I texted the "staff" they didn't know what I was talking about. Also I was disappointed that the neon sign with the phones was broken.
Quiet, good location, safe neighborhood, large rooms, nice decor, comfy beds, full kitchen, private patio, large bathroom, clean, nice pool and games area, hot tub, good size TV, easy check-in process with codes for the doors and entrance, free parking. We enjoyed our stay very much.

There was a breakfast? I wasn't informed. I expected one but there was no communication around that. That is a problem with electronic only hotels with no visible staff.

UgandaThe location was a bit far for someone who walked everywhere and the streets were very dark near the location in the evening. There were multiple forks but not a single spoon in the kitchen. The refrigerator did not work. I told the hosts this during the stay but no attempt to address this while I was there.
The pool and hot tub were great.

United StatesHeads up - Avantstay, the company that manages this property will require you to scan your face through an app called Persona before they allow you to check in. It felt very creepy and there was no option to opt out. There is no actual front desk or on-site staff and all customer service is digital. Overall, the hotel was cute but I feel like the shared areas could have used some maintenance and upkeep! The outdoor shower by the pool was not functional.
Cute hotel with spacious rooms! My friends and I were able to get adjacent rooms which was nice. ACs were strong and the rooms were well equipped with appliances if you wanted to make some snacks at the hotel.

United StatesI didn’t like the cement floor. I prefer feeling rugs or hardwood flooring under my feet. The curtains leave large enough gaps for people to look into our room. I couldn’t find any sponges and I wasn’t sure if the dishes in our room or the communal area were clean.
I enjoyed the communal aspect of the main area with the pool. It was nice to have a ping pong table, inflatables, and a putting station to play with. The bes was comfortable and it was nice walking into a room with relaxing music. Mike J. Was super helpful and friendly.

United States4pm is a very late hour for check in, especially when it's getting dark at 5pm.
The place is beautiful. The suite is very big and functional and the pool is heated (big plus when you have children). It was a wonderful getaway, we will definitely come back.
