The bartender was extremely slow. We waited 20 mins before she acknowledged my husband and myself, and there was only 6 ppl at the bar.

The miscommunication! They didn't inform me that pool is closed. They changed spa hours while waiting outside the spa to use it.

On your slow weeks you should offer a 60 year old + special for a quiet get away. JUST AN OFF SEASON RETREAT. Spa special, guided hike, picnic lunch, tea & scones at night, (no smores), game night (poker, bingo, cards, etc). Tap into another niche. Hmmmm..... I like it. I'd bring all my friends.

My wife and I went to the Whiteface Lodge for our mini-moon, right after our wedding in November. Our stay was incredible - the room size was massive, and the bed and living area were very comfortable and well appointed. The guest facilities were amazing (including a small gym and game room, hot-tub and indoor pool), and the food at the restaurants was delicious. We really enjoyed the included breakfast every morning, and the complimentary cookies! We went during the off season so it was extremely quiet and peaceful during our trip, which we really appreciated and needed. Will be going back again!

A bit pricey, but I would still go again! Wish the resturant in house had a little more options, but what we ordered was delicious!

We visited for our anniversary and were extremely pleased with this resort! SUPER clean and the most comfortable place I've stayed in a while. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was amazing! Loved the outdoor pool, hot tubs, and walking the beautiful and manicured grounds. We did not get a chance to use the spa, but every aspect of this resort was spot on! Loved the movie theater and game rooms and all the cozy spaces with a warm fire every night to hang out at and meet other couples.

We had 4 breakfasts and 3 dinners on site. Meals were inconsistent…some were poorly prepared while others were very good.

 Everything was excellent, and will be on our initial expectations. The staff and facilities were outstanding. I also liked all the extracurricular activities (fishing, s’mores, campfires, etc.). The restaurants and bar were also outstanding.

Very poor coffee. Breakfast suits only North American guests. There is a poor selection for non American guests- no proper espresso coffee, no cheese varieties, no fresh vegetables.

The lodge was excellent! Very clean and spacious rooms. Lots of extras to be enjoyed ( movie theater, bowling, s’mores, hot tub). We’ll definitely be back.

I could not rave about the Lodge more. The entire property is beautiful, set back away from the main road on Whiteface Mountain. Our room could have been a rustic little apartment we could live in forever. The spa tub was WONDERFUL. The free breakfast buffet for guests was literally the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had at a hotel. But it didn’t really feel like a hotel, it felt very homey and comfortable. No noise from other rooms. A nice living room area and porch. Bed was as comfortable as the one we have at home! Plenty of great amenities, too. We completely fell in love with the place, which is good because we were on our honeymoon!

Access to Mirror lake

Our stay was better than expected. We liked that there was a lot to do on property, loads of amenities to choose from and explore. Staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet had good options for vegetarians too.
