How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Ice machines out of order, the beds were a little overly soft for my back. Breakfast was lackluster, packaged up in bags. Covid has given everyone an excuse for less service

Bed was strange. Kinda sloshy like a waterbed but wasn’t. Actually too soft for my taste.
Beautiful property within walking distance of several restaurants and bars.

Breakfast is just granola bars. Not as show in the website. Bed is not comfortable for me, is way too soft.

I understand covid is a problem for all but the breakfast was horrible. Packaged stuff I would never eat or expect in a establishment that charges $$$$

- The bed mattress is way too soft and feels pretty old - Curtains do not close all the way. - AC unit is pretty loud.
- Staff was very friendly - Location is great. Hotel is in a convenient area, cafe and Walgreen in walking distance. - Shower has really good water pressure

As a tourist, I found it fairly far from the attraction areas, but that made for a quiet wind down at night time. Seemed to be in an extremely rich part of town as the nearest shop was very expensive and stocked with lots of high end items. Local police share a garage with hotel, the station is literally across the street. Very safe.
Hotel staff nosy, hanging out in front of guests doors for no reason.

The location in proximity to popular chain restaurants. Both front desk clerks, young female and older male, had a very nonchalant attitude during my check-in, but was very chipper and upbeat with Caucasian customers. There was one family that monopolized the indoor pool. My little 3 person family didn't stand a chance.
Cleanliness of hotel. Cleanliness of our room. Beds were very soft. Parking garage was a nice addition.

The bed is very soft. My children (4&6yr) and my wife and I can’t sleep on it. We slept on it first night but we can’t another night.

They should not say free breakfast when all they have is muffins, juice, and yogurt. They room was small and not cleaned properly. We found a dirty sock an some food under a chair in the room and behind the tv stand was a half of a sandwich from subway. We did not eat subway during our stay so I know it was not ours. The beds are very uncomfortable the pillows you may as well sleep without one.
We enjoyed the pool when there was not 3 to 5 families. The pool was small but we enjoyed it.

Staff had great customer service. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the fact that the hotel is literally walking distance from restaurants, grocery store, and movie theater. Yes, we would stay here again.

No towels to use in the pool / spa area. Had to get some from the front desk. Breakfast needs some work. Just a few cold grab and go items. Not much effort put into this. Items aren’t even pre bagged so you can “grab and go”. So, in a supposed effort to keep people safe in the COVID era by not making a hot breakfast, guests still have to reach in and grab each breakfast item out of a community bowl. I’d rather take my chances with at least some eggs and bacon or a waffle maker. Seems a little lazy.
The hotel is in a great location. Nice quaint little commerce area with restaurant, groceries and Walgreens in the immediate area. It was nice to be able to park in the garage connected to the hotel.

Had I not had the coupon it would had been way too much. Parking is terrible.
