Just a minor note that the toilet in room 221 was right up against the cabinet which made sitting uncomfortable.

The room was beautiful and spacious !

The menu to the restaurant didn’t have a lot of vegan or celiac choices. We didn’t eat there so I can’t say whether or not they would have been able to make accommodations. In all fairness, most of the restaurants we looked at in York were too light on the vegan/vegetarian options to be interesting.

They really were dog friendly! The staff always welcomed our dog with a smile and treats and told us where we could walk him. They had baggie stations at both entrances. When in our room we couldn’t hear people in the neighboring rooms. They had light block out shades! The lobby is beautiful and functional. It was lively during the day and quite late at night. The room was quiet with a great view of the cityscape.

Friendly, helpful staff; warm welcome. We reserved a large party for breakfast and they were able to accommodate us in a separate room. The wait staff were excellent. In warm weather, the rooftop bar would be a real treat - 360 views of town.

Lovely hotel, beautifully restored, walking distance close to many eateries and Appell theater. Breakfast was wonderful.

Charming and beautifully restored! Room was large and comfortable. Nice little lobby bar area is great for hanging out. The location in downtown York is perfect, with great restaurants and shops within a block. Parking across the street in the public garage is easy - and free, on weekends!

Parking was awful. The room that I reserved wasn't what I expected, from what I saw from the pictures when I reserved the room. Also, I didn't get any help from the staff about this when I went and complained that the room that I reserved wasn't the room that I got. Jennifer, the staff person that was at the front desk, said she couldn't do anything because that was the room that I reserved and that the pictures were the wrong ones that were presented online. You would think because of the false advertisement they would help a customer by giving them a discount or the room that I was expecting when I reserved the room according to the pictures. Because they were the ones that screwed up.

We have a king bed at home. That was not a true king bed. It was more like a queen. I would have to say what jumped out to us was the size of the room, very very small. OK for the solo traveler, not so much for two people.

The room was very clean. I would have to say it was spotless. I know it was recently renovated. It showed not a scratch on anything. Once again I could not get over how clean the room was. I would say this is a very nice hotel, right in the middle of everything. Walking distance to just about everything in the downtown area.

For what I needed out of my stay (essentially, just a place to drop off my bags and sleep for five hours before immediately leaving the next morning), it's a bit pricey. And I didn't get to fully enjoy the amenities. So this isn't where I'd go if you need to just crash momentarily. I imagine it's amazing for a more meaningful stay, though!

Very pretty, and a really great breakfast, to boot! The location's convenient, especially with a parking garage across the street. The cocktail bar seemed impressive, and boasted a nice picture of Frank Sinatra on the wall, so that's a plus in my book. The bathroom was modern, clean, and had luxurious supplies inside.

Everything in the hotel was perfect! Very cozy and welcoming room. Very clean room and bathroom, A+ in my opinion. The staff was friendly and personable. Parking is limited for those of us who drive trucks over 6’ tall. We could not find a parking spot in the designated areas; however, the hotel staff was fantastic and made sure we had a place to park. They made us feel important and that we mattered. Sometimes that is hard to find nowadays.

Everything was perfect. The food was bad, just not very creative and did not measure up to the quality of the hotel itself

The food itself was not that great; I think they need a new chef but the staff was great, especially Sarah in the restaurant. She is outstanding!!!!!

The lack of parking and laundry was inconvenient but the rest of the amenities and the amazing staff made up for it. It would be great to be able to pay ahead of time for a parking pass for the nearby lot, for a set price.

The newly renovated property was beautiful. The hotel retained so much of the original hotel and added amazing platt pieces that celebrate the local history. The rooftop lounge was amazing and a great place to meet co-workers and friends. The staff throughout the hotel were collectively outstanding, super friendly, kind and helpful!

Bar might be a bit more friendly and carry a few late night foods like cheese and crackers also they don’t allow you to bring your wine glasses upstairs to your room. First class hotels should not be pouring wine into a plastic cup. Really? There is a small fridge and microwave in the suite rooms which is handy. Bring your own wine and snacks.

The staff was accommodating and friendly. They went out of their way to get me a nice room and parking.
