The room service QR code wasn’t updated, so we received an item that didn’t match our order and had to be sent back. We had chosen it due to a dairy allergy and the replacement was covered in cheese. They remade it, but it wasn’t very good. The rooftop becomes a club at night and we struggled to fall asleep to thumping music above us.

We had a 5th floor room and could still hear the music from the rooftop bar. It didn't keep us awake but I wouldn't want a room any higher in the hotel.

The location was a little tough getting into on the day of arrival due to the Oscars being on the same night. The street was closed off due to the Oscar parties in the hotels and surrounding buildings. We were given instruction that the hotel was valet parking only but we had to circle the area for over an hour because there were zero places to park outside in order to check in due to the Oscars being on the same day and the street was blocked off. Had to park our car in the middle of the street and run in to see where we needed to park in order to check in. Thought the hotel should have sent us a text giving the travelers that day some better information.

The room and staff were both phenomenal. The patio stting was awesone and we really enjoyed sitting out outside. The patio was secluded which aslo was a plus. The staff and valet were very helpful and attentive to our needs.

The 9th floor gets noisy from the night club, the crew at the hotel moved us, we were very happy with the night Manager.

Parking and food from bar was too expensive.

Wanted to see Hollywood so was good location to base in. Lots of restaurants and attractions near by. Room was very nice with good size patio. Staff very nice.

It's not exactly made for business travelers since there is no desk in the room (I know I know...I'm the one who needs to adjust to the traditional desk going away but I am old school). I also wish I could tip housekeeping digitally. I didn't have cash on me so I felt bad for not tipping the first couple of days... Also, the water pressure of the shower could be higher.

This is my second time staying here and it never fails. Super clean and comfortable bed. Slick interior. Nice view. Great rooftop. Nothing to complain about.

When we arrived at the hotel I broke my phone and I couldn’t pull up my reservation or pay with my phone. Jahnee was very patient and helpful in that moment. Jahnee pulled up our reservation even upgraded our room because it was our honeymoon and she even came up to our room short after we checked in to give us a nice bottle of champagne and some chocolates to celebrate our honeymoon. For the remainer of our stay Jahnee and the other staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember. I highly recommend staying at the Thompson.

Enjoyed the location. The rooms were clean and very stylish. Loved the rooftop bar, pool and late night bar. Mother Wolf restaurant next door was a highlight.

The location wasn’t good. A lot of homeless people all over the neighbourhood. I don’t think it’s the best place for a family vacation.

The staff was very great also the valet were very kind and helpful. but there is one guy working at the hotel reception was very dry and didnt have proper manners to work as a receptionist. He was unprofessional and unhelpful as well unfortunately I didnt get his name.

The valet staff were more friendly than the actual hotel. Reception- the male staff was rude. No personality whatsoever, not friendly or helpful at all. Have also got charged twice for the transaction, the first transaction apparently got declined but the money left my account anyway so I had to bring it up with my bank as the hotel could not be helpful with that. Have not received my money back yet so will have to bring it up with booking.com in a few days the guy seemed like he doesn’t want to be there and couldn’t care less, had to use the Amex to pay for the hotel instead. Room- The bathroom doesn’t have enough space for toiletries Not enough space to put your stuff, it’s mostly taken by the minibar The location is heaving with homeless people but if you’re driving it’s fine Keep in mind the valet cost $65 per night
