We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe room heating could've been better. I had it cranked all the way up, but it still came on only intermittently, and only blew for a short time each time. I'd have liked the room a bit warmer when I went to bed. That said, it was far from frigid, and I wasn't kept awake shivering. But I'm not sure what it'd be like on a cold winter's day.
Beds reasonably comfortable. Curtains opaque enough to allow for a reasonably dark room, important for sleeping. No problems with wi-fi. Location good; easy to find the place.

United StatesThe top floor rooms have not been renovated to the same level as the bottom floor rooms. We would prefer upper floor, but we take the renovations .
Thunder bird is the least expensive hotel in Mountain Home, ID at $84/night. It’s fine for an overnight, but it needs an in room coffee maker or at least a hot water kettle, another set of pillows and an extra blanket to really be comfortable. The owner lives on site and he’s really great. They are making improvements all the time. We like that we can book even last minute.

United StatesThere was a set of railroad tracks that ran past the hotel a couple of hundred feet away. However, we did not have any issues with noise since none ran during the night.
I like these older hotels. They are made of cinder block so the noise insulation from neighboring rooms is very good. We arrived incredibly late but our host was VERY gracious in accommodating our check-in. The room was very well maintained with newer furniture. The microwave and mini fridge were an added bonus at this price point. The additional AC outlets provided in the alarm clock were well appreciated given the vintage of the hotel. Yes, I would stay again.

Give all credit to the owners for refurbishing. Yes this is an old motel and don't be fooled by the old exterior. The owners have done a great job of remodeling the room interiors to be bright, modern, and clean .
