A really nice, well maintained tiny place. Very private with a super nice landlord who personally took care of us. Absolutely recommended for more than one night. Tremendous landscape for nature-lovers with a lot of things to do.

Kevin was very friendly, super helpful with our needs. Enjoyed great conversation and great info on Mt Rushmore, super attentive. The place is located at a great location, easy check in and out. A lot snacks and drinks (water and iced tea) were provided. We’ll definitely book it here again in the future.

A minor worry I had was that the wall between my unit and the adjoining one did allow voices to be easily heard. I was concerned that my early morning use of the microwave might have disturbed the couple in that room.

Great location, very close (<5 minutes) to the hospital in Rapid City, and not far (<10 minutes) from downtown, yet located in a pocket of beautiful forest views. The room itself was very clean, spacious, and well-appointed. I especially appreciated that there was a chair and table on the little front porch outside the room, where I could sit and enjoy the natural surroundings (including a young buck deer with furry new antlers who sauntered by). I felt totally safe here, and even slept with the windows open to enjoy the crisp night air. Kevin, the host-owner, was incredibly responsive and accommodating. I would love to come back here and bring my family!

Kevin was such an amazing host. He helped us with some inconveniences we had in our trip (not related to the house at all). The house had everything we needed and he provided us with lots of snacks too. The house is just 3 minutes drive from Rapid City. Calm and silent.

I use earplugs but you might hear cars or motorcycles if you don’t.

There were snacks, cold water and juice in the room along with a fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The owner recommended a great local restaurant Colonial House. One could easily reheat leftovers from dinner or buy their homemade caramel rolls and have them fresh from the microwave. There’s a smart tv so we were able to log in to Netflix and Hulu and watch our shows. (Don’t forget to log out when you leave😉). Beds were comfy with soft sheets.
