Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Rooms are large and clean, beds great. We love that there are actual windows which can be opened for fresh air, as well as the typical a/c unit. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is no free breakfast but plenty of places to grab it very close by: we prefer choosing our own anyway!

United StatesNo cleaning during our stay (of course except when ‘do not disturb’…late night zzz sign was out twice). Only time they came in was when the time we asked to fill almost empty bath soap dispenser. The room desk, bathroom sliding door, and some misc high contact surfaces were a bit sticky. The sliding door also had some smudges, we refrain from touching them. Heater smell like burnt dust when first turned on, but after a couple of times it’s gone, so not too bad. But always good to check all operations and almost empty bittles or supplies.
Location (close to restaurants and park), cleanliness, friendly staff, amenities (gym, free coffee and water, cozy heated outdoor patio), access to buying late night food), and gated inside.

United StatesI didn’t research thoroughly so didn’t realize that the hotel doesn’t serve breakfast. However it wasn’t a big issue because the first morning we had breakfast at the “Chick and Calf” restaurant around the corner and on the second morning I had breakfast at “Kings Hawaiian bakery” which is only half a mile away.
Room was very clean with hardwood/tiled floors. Room had a keurig coffee maker with enough coffee pods for the two mornings I was there.
