How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I had trouble connecting my laptop to the Wi-Fi, even after asking at the front desk for help. To their credit, the receptionist was able to connect it in the lobby, but I lost connection as soon as I returned to our room, and could never get it to connect again. We got the efficiency room with a small kitchen and although there were plates, and cups, pots, and pans, there wasn't any silverware. Kind of disappointing. For 3 adults, the room was kind of small. There wasn't room to get between the sleeper sofa and the main bed when the sleeper sofa was in bed form. The shower had some small water damage.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean. I traveled with my mom and dad, and I slept on the pull out couch, which, for a sleeper sofa, it was serviceable. Not overly comfortable, but not uncomfortable. The main bed was very nice and comfortable according to my parents. The breakfast was nice. We were served oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, muffins, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and scrambled eggs with coffee, juice and milk. They do have a mini snack store beside the check-in desk that had a variety of different things. The bathroom was large and roomy with a nice big shower.

I didn’t like the breakfast! It could’ve used a little more variety such as turkey sausage and healthy items!
The hotel, staff and the room were great! The room was very nice and clean! It was located in a nice area! My check in and out process was very smooth

The weather but you don’t have control over that 😆
I was expecting a fridge, microwave and coffee maker but we had a full efficiency type room with stove, dishwasher and all utensils. The room size was generous for 3 people. Love that they have pump dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Better for the environment. Breakfast was a bonus. I would stay there again. Location was awesome!!

The breakfast was not very good. The eggs were especially bad.
We really liked the room. It was nice having a refrigerator and not just a dorm fridge.

The mattress was a little firm. But that's a personal preference. Some people like firm beds.
Really close to everything. It was very nice and new. Staff was friendly as well.

The grocery section was pricey.
The staff were really nice and helpful, it was very clean, the hotel was quiet. They also had a good breakfast and coffee around the clock.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired. The waffles were soggy. The sausage was gross. I think it was turkey sausage, but I could not identify it.
The room was very clean. The staff was friendly and responsive.

What I did not like was the design of the shower and how a part of it is open. So while showering water would get on the floor outside of the shower. And the gym area did feel somewhat small with me wishing there was a little more space.
The location was nice. The breakfast was good. And the rooms were nice and clean. As well as the gym and the pool were quite nice as well. Also, the atmosphere and staff around the hotel were pleasant and friendly.

Loved the coziness of the room. The walk in shower was unexpected and so nice. Bed was comfortable. The streaming options on the tv were a nice bonus. Will definitely plan on staying at this location again in the future. Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly!

Pillows!
The staff member who checked us in was very nice — it was raining and we had came to town to go to Carowinds. They closed early due to inclement weather, and the guy checking us in gave us some ideas for things to do around the area. He was very nice and welcoming all the way around! There was no “hotel smell”, the room was clean, and bed was comfortable! Loved the walk in shower also. :)
