It was a bit expensive, and hotel parking was only available as a pricey 40 dollar a night valet service, however other lots where you could pay to park were available somewhat close to the hotel.

The hotel appeared to be a bit aged on the upper floor rooms, but the room was nice enough and even had a kitchen available. The location is superb and you'll be hard pressed to find a better one. Theres easy access to downtown and the river walk. Breakfast on our 2nd day there had amazing items for a breakfast tacos you could make yourself.

Only thing I could find fault with was the swimming pool and parking. Swimming pool was tiny and got absolutely no sun!! We didn't use valet parking as it was very expensive. Parking garage (Houston street garage) was a 2 min walk away 9 dollars a day which was very reasonable.

Our room had a fairly large tear in the carpet. We only had 1 chair in the room so if you wanted to watch tv someone had to sit on the bed. I asked for another one but they didn't have one. The chairs in the lobby were vey uncomfortable. Hopefully they will remodel soon

The location was exceptional. Within just a few blocks of everything. Breakfast was good, the ladies were on top of everything. The hotel was very clean but needed to be updated. Staff was very friendly and eager to help with what ever you needed. Very busy hotel.

The room was in need of an update. Torn carpet, cupboard doors and drawers that needed ajusting. They should have opened the breakfast area until at least 9:30 as it was March break and was likely completly booked.

Shower pressure wasn't strong enough for me. The bed wasn't very comfortable and no parking on site. Valet parking was the best way to go, but charged for each day.

Location was great, a couple of blocks from Riverwalk.

Wish they could have taken care of some of the wear and tear. Wall paper in the bathroom was peeling off.

Property is older and shows wear and tear but facilities are clean. Had good breakfast options every morning, and they were different each time. Locate me near multiple facilities and tourist attractions.

Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was as though the pub music was in our room. So loud. You will need earplugs!

I would not recommend eating the hotel breakfast because it was horrible. Luckily there are plenty of breakfast places nearby. The hotel could definitely use some remodeling, the wallpaper in our bathroom was starting to peel off and the windows need to be cleaned badly.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights during Christmas time and had a great experience. Hotel is outdated but our room was clean and spacious. We had a view of Travis park and when it lit up at night it was beautiful. Location is amazing, 3 minutes to the Riverwalk and a nice area. We literally walked everywhere. We parked at a parking garage nearby and that was alot cheaper than doing valet. Since everything is walking distance we did not use our car at all until we headed home. Staff were nice and helpful.

Other furnishings in our room were dated and in some cases in damaged condition. Windows were dirty. Noisy cleaning staff carts pushed across floor during breakfast and early morning trash pickup behind hotel.

Windows were very dirty and couldn’t be opened to clean and let air in.carts in basement were very loud when moving around at breakfast. Trash pick up at 4am woke me with banging around of dumpsters.

Central location in a safe area downtown that is one block from the River Walk, the Alamo, and a 10 minute walk to the convention center. The room is large and comfortable with a nice shower and comfortable bed.
