The main restaurant needs some work, our service was slow, had to wait for drinks, and were told we couldn't move a chair when we said we had 9 in our reservation. but other than that, it was fine. Room are large and roomy, however they need updating, bathrooms are a little beat up from all the traffic as well as furniture, however, we weren't in the room very much as we were on the beach have fun!

OMG!!! 5 Stars for the Breakfast and staff!! My family ate all our breakfast meals at the cafe, hostess's, Morgan, Denise (sorry those were the only names I could remember who waited on us) and all the other staff were EXCEPTIONALl!! Food EXCELLENT! Coffee-OUTSTANDING! We were very impressed as we have been coming down to St Pete beach for over 10 years and this was the first time staying at Rum Fish. Will definitely book again!

Hotel lobby is dark and very noisy. Our room was next to lobby and we could hear upcoming n going talking all night. Not to mention we could continually hear side gate open n closing for house keeping/laundry bins.

The beach was beautiful and we loved that cabanas are included in the resort fee! Since we booked with booking.com we got a free upgrade to a Gulf view room and the glass of champagne at check in was greatly appreciated. Victor was so nice and brought a gift for the birthday girl in our group after passing through our little party and Denise at the Gulfside Grill was attentive and just as nice as she could be! My skillet meal was delicious. The room was spacious, clean and the temperature went down to 65 degrees which was great after a long day at the beach. I usually head to the east coast but will definitely go back to Rumfish!

I didn’t appreciate the resort getting rid of both gift shops, rerouting the parking lot literally over night mid trip, and having huge private events set up across the resort that took away from everyone else’s guest experience. We were notified by the resort of the private event from 4/17-5/3 by email AFTER the free cancelation date. This resort was not cheap, and I was made to feel like a second class customer because I was not part of the “private” group that reserved certain areas of the resort. Housekeeping didn’t show up for 3 days, and when they did it would be after 4pm when we were already back to the room and about to get ready for dinner.

Absolutely beautiful location on st Pete beach, close to plenty of restaurants and beach bars.

Everything was great, parking was a little cramped but other than that, nothing we didn’t like.

We liked all the activities they offered and most definitely the location! The private beach access was very nice and there were a lot of other dining options within walking distance. Having access to the other resorts was fun too!

My WiFi didn’t work for 2 days despite them assisting. Then a manager called to ask how my stay was and offered a portable wifi because I needed it for work. This saved the trip and the experience

They were working on moving things for a Passover event so some things were closed when we were there

Upon arrival, the gentleman checking us in went above and beyond without us even asking and upgraded our room to an oceanfront room. I booked the standard room and that wasn’t ready upon arrival. He went out of his way to ask the boss if it was ok if he upgraded to an oceanfront room that was ready at no extra charge. We are thankful for him and his kind act because the view was astonishing!

The Lobby is outdated and disappointing when you arrive. The Starbucks was disappointing - one day there were no napkins. And the selection was minimal

We liked our room - a bedroom and a living room with balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. We could be in our room and feel like we were at a party with the music from the bar. We liked the cabanas and Horatio was great! We loved the happy hour at the Rumfish Grille.

People were smoking in non smoking areas- I could smell cigar 2 nights in my room- and some people smoking at outside areas- and cabanas- But people should respect the rules and others- smoking triggers my migraines- and there are children around!

Beautiful location- dont even have to leave resort- and cabanas included is such a plus!!!

Parents need to be more responsible around the pool or there needs to be hotel supervision. Too much ball playing in the pool and saw a child get hurt jumping in the pool to catch the ball. Parents also did not recognize there were other guests in the pool
