Comfortable bed, clean room but otherwise a basic motel. Good for passing through or short stay

The parking lot is pretty tight and the rooms are dark. But, overall I think I got what I expected and was happy enough.

This is not a luxury hotel and should not be rated as such. It is an old style motel and in that criteria I had no complaints. The key thing was that my room was quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the place felt clean. There were not any real amenities to the property but I was not looking for that. I checked in late and the staff was quite nice. As to be expected, the decor is older and put together by a color blind decorator but that really does not matter in a motel in this class. I would stay there again.

No jug to boil water. Standard in a similar Aussie motel

Great location and a short, safe stroll from the restaurants and bars (Seasons restaurant & Jakes Saloon 👏👏) Clean room, comfy large bed and friendly owner

The desk clerk wasn't especially welcoming.

The accommodations were modest but clean. Parking was convenient. Location was close to restaurants and attractions. Great view of the mountains.

For a 2-star motel it was great

Our front door was in a dark corner and uninviting but the room was a good size and in fact the only one with a window view of Mt. Whitney! Comfortable bed and well -equipped. Not aware of road noise from main highway outside. Liked this place for it's location, loads of food outlets in walking distance and right next door to the Western Movie Museum which is a must-do.

The owners/administrators were cold and aloof. They were not going to win a popularity contest. All business.

The room was in the back and far away from the street. I liked the quiet. The room was small but well thought out. The bed was comfortable, there was just enough lights in the room. It had a TV , an end table a chair, small refrigerator, Microwave, shower/ bathtub, Vanity and even a place for your cloths. It was very clean.

Parking lot is a little small, but parking is available right on the street. Only a minor inconvenience.

The hotel is right on the Main Street of Lone Pine. It’s maybe a half mile from Whitney Portal Drive and once the road is open, you can make it into the Alabama Hills in about 10 min. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean and everything appeared well kept. The drive to Death Valley is close and it’s about 2.5 hrs from Furnace Creek.

Parking was tight. Get there early.

Nicely updated motor lodge. Clean with good choices of furnishing. We knew there was no breakfast so we splurged at the excellent Alabama Hills Bakery up the street. There is a fridge/microwave/coffee in room. My kids enjoyed a cold dip in the pool. A/C worked well. Friendly helpful staff. I mistakenly made 2 reservations, one online and one by phone. The desk clerk called back to confirm my intentions and sorted everything out.

On the whole, I got what I expected for around $100. The only complaints would be to a) add a small continental breakfast, and b) add a blow dryer. Blow dryers are standard, and I was disappointed.

This is a quaint place with a killer view of the East Sierras behind it. The room was spacious and comfortable, and coffee service was in room. Ice and vending was close by as well as a washer and dryer. It’s a good 2-star motel.

The woman at the front desk can suck the joy out of just about anything I think. I never liked the over enthousiastic welcomes, but this is the complete other side of the spectrum. I have never been met with such disdain. I'm telling you, not even a hello or hi, nothing. Really strange....

Room was pretty good, not too expensive so you get what you pay for.
