Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

United StatesI always have to clean the room before and after I stay. The floors are not really clean and ur feet get extremely dirty just walking to the bathroom. They also changed me for stains on their sheets that were already there. I never sleep on motel sheets I bring my own alway, and for a clean band new hand they said was dirty and had stains. It was never used nor taken out of the room. How funny.

United StatesOnce I arrived I could see why a waiting period wasn't necessary. Absolutely no one is walking into the lobby and wilfully booking a room. When I travel I take my own soap and shampoo. They have a policy that requires a $100.00 deposit in the case that anything is broken or stained you'll be charged. I used my own soap to wash my face and hands and used a small towel to dry. Upon checking out the lady who checked my room said the towel was stained. The towel had a faint amount of dirt on it from blotting my forehead prior to washing. They charged me an additional $5 00 for the towel claiming it was stained when it was just simply had a little dirt on it. A stain is established/confirmed when you wash something and it doesn't remove what was visible. I've had clothes that I did yard work in that aftet a wash you wouldn't have guessed that I was working in the yard. Why do we as human beings take a bath/shower if there's no chance of removing oil or dirt from our body??? A major scam regarding the deposit if I've ever seen one.
The only thing I liked was that I didn't have to wait 3 hours to check in once I booked the room online.

The escort for the pest guy was a guy in a security t-shirt and flip flops walking around knocking and yelling" security." Downstairs exit door on north side was locked from the outside AND FROM THE INSIDE - got to be a fire code violation at minimum. No add'l interior lock on my door to better secure the room while I was inside. Taped up tacky signs everywhere on what NOT to do or have. Lobby and hallways NOT air conditioned in the middle of a hot summer. Posted policy about an add'l $100 deposit for Booking.com customers that wouldn't clear until the motel inspected the room...
Bed was big and comfortable though the comforter was a lumpy mess. Room A/C was good. Fridge and TV and microwave worked. Water pressure was good.
