Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWhen it came time to take a shower, there was no hot water. I called the front desk and was informed that the water lines had been worked on that day and to let the water run for about 30 minutes to allow the hot water to flow. After running the shower for about an hour or so, the tub did not drain properly and there was still no hot water.
The staff was quite friendly. The room that I stayed in was very clean and overall comfortable.

United StatesThe two women who are doing chicken and were very nice and polite but when I checked out in the morning to get my $50 deposit back I was charged multiple times and still haven't received mine $50 deposit back that they took out my account twice the room was semi clean the restroom still had trash and a little other things in there but what they they were trying to rush to get the room ready for me so I wasn't too mad the bedroom was nice and spacious everything else was clean when I did do the check out and find out I was charged double for my deposit fee the lady who was checking me out was very rude and mean about the situation

United StatesThe carpets need to be steamed clean. The room furnitures need an update badly. The AC unit leaks inside the carpets. New bedsheets, towels, the bathroom sink was loose and wobbling. Overall a treatment is needed to make it a better travelodge.
I like that I was able to have a room for my family and I until our apartment was ready. The staff was nice. I didn’t have any complaints on getting items needed for the room.

There was no breakfast. The location was central to everything. Bit a distance from my conference but the price was reasonable so I chose to drive the 30 minutes.

United StatesMy first impression on my first room was that this is not the room on the picture that was advertised. Defiantly a 1 star. I asked for non smoking and it smelled like smoke. I was highly disappointed in the overall condition.
The hostess was extremely nice. I told her my room smelled like smoke and she switched me to an interior room. This room was like night and day and did look the one advertised.

United Statesthe sheets looked to be the only thing clean in the room, the toilet paper holder had tons of ash, the floors could of been cleaned a lot better. Looked like some night extra curricular activities went on with there.
It was a bed, right off the expressway, quick drive to down town so it worked for us. Nothing special but nothing terrible. No police issues, no stealing.
