How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The blinds didn't block out all the light, and the room was a bit dusty.
Close to airport, shuttle was easy. Room was updated and nice.

It was all good - great pricing for the quality
the room was spacious especially the bathroom - it was clean and really liked that there were no carpet. Enjoyed the free HBO and appreciated the free ride to the airport

The staff was really not nice. They did their job, but it looked as if they were in jail. The room was quite noisy. Not something that bothered me particularly, but if you have a light sleep, you might be woken up a couple of times.
The room is big, and everything went all right. Very good value for price.

Outdoor area was a bit grubby but it’s an older busy budget motel style place so to be expected.
Very clean room and comfy bed. Quiet for sleeping. Super shower. Tasty coffee in machine. Punctual shuttle in the morning to the airport. Basic and great for an overnight stay.

The room was quite stuffy
Proximity to airport + airport shuttle was convenient. Our stay was a pit stop during a long layover. It was plenty good enough for our stay and the price was reasonable.

The hotel is pretty close to the airport, so its a perfect place to stay overnight before flight. The room was clean and big enough. I can recommend it for a short stay.

Old school motel in a busy traffic area, so noise inevitable. Some guests smoke outside and you hear them chat. We stayed in winter; be aware the room AC has very loud fan blower, we turned it off—I wouldn’t stay in summer. Liquid toiletries dispensers but the only hand/body wash hung at the bathtub. Just a few coarse towels. Water here tastes of chlorine.
Bed & pillows very comfortable, even for people w back issues. Super convenient location w free airport transfer, helpful staff. Refurbished rooms were spotless. Lobby shop offers snacks, drinks, phone chargers and cables, even ramen you can microwave. Airplane sounds are not as loud as you’d expect. Quick food Restaurants nearby.

There was a heavy rain storm that blew rain under the door. It had a gap and the floor flooded. We had enough towels to block it and mop up the water.
Airport shuttle, and very close to LAX airport.

although i had a rental car, i needed a hotel close to the airport. They have a shutlle. There was a "hidden" Mexican restaurant La Paz (seen maps) IHOP is within walking distance. As well as a gasstation if you must retrun your car full.

Check in and out might took a little while since we arrived with the airport shuttle and many people were checking in and out at the same time, but nothing too worrying.
Good value for money hotel close to the airport. The room was clean and ok for just a night for a stoppover, the shuttle service was efficient.

Shuttle was off. Although the hotel paid for the taxi, the taxi driver complained the short distance and swore all the way to the hotel

The rooms are spacious, perfect to organize all our stuff since we were on a layover to Asia. The shuttle driver was so kind and helpful and always had a smile on his face. The hotel manager also spoke to us for a minute and he also was very nice and friendly. The customer service girls looked serious at the beginning and opened up a little at the end of our stay. Maybe showing a smile to people is not something that is used to some people, but it does create a huge impact on the way the guests feel…

They change extra for everything! Wanted $5-6 per bag to store, early check in was an extra $25, asked for a spoon to eat some leftovers was told to go to the supermarket, you need to ask to get the room made up we stayed 3 nights and room was only made up on the last night as I asked 3 times. Some staff very unhelpful
Good location close to the airport and between down town and the coast. Supermarket close. Free transfer to airport is a great service.
