Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe room was dirty. The vents in the bathroom look like they have never been cleaned. The bathroom was dirty. The shampoo look like it was half used. AC kept turning on and off all night even though it was set to be on continously. The room was extremely overpriced due to a festival that was being held at the fairgrounds during the weekend. The walls were very thin and you could hear people talking and moving around in the rooms that shared a wall.
Location to the fair grounds. Free parking. Early check in.

United KingdomThere was a conjoining room which isn’t well sound proofed so we were woken up at 4am when next door was moving around, could see the light coming under the door. There was also a huge lorry and two buses parked in the car park right outside our room and there were loads of men just hanging around the hotel not doing anything aside from starting at us when we were coming and going from the room which made it feel unsafe.
Really big spacious room, two big double beds, large bathroom, all very clean. Owners really friendly. Good location, about a 20 min walk into town.

United StatesBed frame would make a weird sound sometimes when you sat or got in bed in certain spots. The microwave was really old. They need to upgrade to newer models. We booked for 1 night but decided to stay another night. The first night we checked in the guy was very nice and had no problems. We weren't asked for a deposit just paid for room. I used booking but changed info to my fiance's name because he was using his card. The guy didn't have any issues with that. The 2nd day I did the same thing and he went to pay. The guy that day said we have to come back at 3:00 to check in. My fiance tells him we are already in a room we just decided to stay another night. The guy didn't want to let him use the booking because the info didn't match. He explained to him that it was my booking but he was paying. He acted like my fiance was trying to do something wrong. He said she is in the room right now. The guy wanted to come to my room and see me. My fiance explained to him that I was sleeping and not dressed. The guy finally let him do it, but all the sudden we had to pay a $100 dollar deposit! We have stayed there before booked in my name and never had to pay a deposit. My fiance said we didn't have to do this last night. The guy said that the other guy didn't know what he was doing and would only take cash. My fiance had to go to bank and pull out the money before he could rent the room & then had to inspect the room before we would get our deposit back! My fiance is black and I think this guy was racist. The next day my fiance was going to help a friend & my friend was picking me up. When I went to check out & get our deposit back, the guy wasn't going to let me have it because my fiance didn't tell him that. I said I was the one that booked the room. The guy tells me you didn't have a reservation. I said yes we did. He finally found it & I still don't know if he used it.
Beds were comfortable. Room spacious but need more on the walls to absorb the echo because of vaulted ceilings. Place is quiet has a good location to get to places easily. Lots of extras in room. Love the side tables and lamps!! Both had USB and plug so lets built in for easy plug in on phones etc. Room had a safe but never used .

United StatesWe paid $332.04 for a room we did NOT stay in. Woman at the counter was not helpful. In fact, she bordered on rudeness. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS MOTEL CHARGES OVER $300. FOR A TOOM. I’D RATHER SLEEP IN MY CAR.

United StatesIt’s too loud outside What is the point of showing a pool when the staff lie about the pool. First the receptionist said the pool opens at 11 am. I come back from work at 4 pm and he said the pool was closed they are waiting for county inspectors. The pool is the strong reason I booked here. Then the toilet stuck bathroom walls wasn’t cleaned Blankets were dirty. Receptionist extremely rude.
