How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beware— if your room faces the highway side, the heat/AC unit fan cannot be turned off. Apparently it is designed to mask the road noise.
Everything was new and convenient. Loved the uncarpeted floors. But what was exceptional was the staff. Did everything to resolve a problem with our room selection (which I had picked) and followed up satisfactorily.

All good , pillows here better than many other hotels still small but more supportive beds comfy but annoying Frame bruised shins .
Modern hotel built about 3 years ago , so all in good order clean and spacious public areas , rooms good not big but good size , fridge etc shower was powerful though took time to get warm , wasting a lot of water , handy access though could do with some signage not all of us are enslaved by the GPS . very close by to multiple shops and diners of all kinds . Rooms are spotless the house keepers do a really good job

We rolled in after a very long and rainy drive. The front desk receptionist was friendly and was able to put our large family in two rooms next to each other with an a joining door! The rooms were clean. The breakfast was delicious (who knew there was a pancake machine!) and we were able to get back on the road heading something the morning with no issues!

Love the playful modern decor, the room was perfect. They let me choose what floor I wanted to be on. It was super close to Liberty University and I look forward to staying there again in the future. The staff I interacted with were all friendly and professional.

The room was small for two people. No dresser and only a tiny desk and desk chair. This room was comparable to other hotels price-wise. We have experience with other national brands. So I feel I would have gotten a little more room. Overall, I felt it was a one person room.
The location was terrific. After we adjusted to the pared down room, it was fine.

Getting to the hotel off of the highway can be a pain if you don't know the area.

We both got very sick, and we think we narrowed it down to the ice in the ice machine in the lobby so that may need cleaned

The group from AMG were very pleased with the property, staff and thought it was a nice touch having headache medicine available. Thank you for everything. Working with the staff for reservations was pleasant as well.

The first staff we met was Gwen at the front desk and she was AMAZING!! So friendly, helpful and made the breakfast sound like a feast - it was great! The cleanliness was outstanding!! Beds comfy too!

Toliet was slow to flush and the shower was weak. I really disnt like the soap. Other than that I liked the accommodation and will stay at a Tru Hilton again!!

The pillows weren't comfortable and the breakfast didn't offer very many vegan options. I can't force myself to come up with other things that I didn't like.
The location was so close to shopping, restaurants and the highway. Having no carpet in the room was so welcoming. Didn't have to worry about stains or allergies. The walk in shower was my absolutely favorite, I can't stand shower curtains.

Rooms are like overseas hotels. Small, no closet, no microwave, no dresser. But there are knobs to hang a few things. There is a nice size bench in the room, no pool.
Breakfast was good. They have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate 24/7. Shower and bathroom nice. Bed was comfortable, small gym but nice.
