Having to leave!

Great check-in process with a tour of the facilities and suite (don’t find this type of personalization anymore at hotels). Very friendly staff who makes you feel at home and very helpful and accommodating. We met the owner and he offered suggestions for our hikes. He was an interesting person and nice to talk with. Excellent breakfast with plenty of varieties not typical continental items like other hotels. Best breakfast we ate on our road trip staying at 6 different hotels and B&B. Awesome massage chair in the lobby area which is great after a hike (after getting showered and cleaned up of course). Great view of the river and love the screened-in balcony. Walking distance to all restaurants and market in town.

You know how in the movies, they always have these great small-town lodges where the owner runs the place and there is a cozy central gathering area where everyone hangs out? I though this was only a Hollywood fabrication, but Twisp River Suites is that place!! This is the warm, charming boutique hotel and sitting on the patios listening to the river was so relaxing. The breakfast spread each morning was home made and quite delicious. Joe Baby epitomizes what a proprietor should be and his pride is evident. He truly cares about the comfort and experience of each guest. Can't wait to go back.

Right by the river—so lovely. There was a nice outdoor patio with comfortable chairs and a porch swing to sit and relax in with the soothing sounds of the river right below you. Nice trail down to the river where you could sit and relax by (mosquitoes this time of year shortened our time down there.). The room was very comfortable and cool, given the hot temps the days we were there. The service was exceptional— the owner Joe was very friendly and had all the time in the world to visit with us. The staff was equally welcoming, helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and easy to take on the go or eat in your room or in the dining area. Make sure to book a room with a screened-in deck with its own porch swing! We didn’t and I would definitely do that if we come back to Twisp.

No complaints

We stayed two nights at Twisp River Suites on a trip to North Cascades National park. They stayed late to check us in and show us our rooms. The staff were all very friendly, the location was peaceful and beautiful. Not as crowded as Winthrop. They have a breakfast buffet on Saturday / Sunday. The homemade scones were the best!! They even shared the recipe with me. If I ever go back I will definitely stay at Twisp River Suites again.

I came for a family wedding in the Methow Valley and found this to be a good place to retreat and have some quiet time on the deck by the river.

There was a sky light over the bed that did not have a remote. It was very difficult to open or close as you had to use a broomstick with a hook on it. The skylight provided good light during the day but way too much at night if the shade was not closed.

There was nothing to dislike.

The suite was fantastic and was overlooking the river. The bed was really comfortable . The kitchen was well equipped so we made dinner there one night . Also the staff were very helpful and friendly . I would highly recommend this place .

The hot tub was not the best. It is difficult to get in and out of - a bit dangerous for us elderly or the less mobile - and quite small.

The breakfasts were excellent, room was lovely and comfortable we had a lovely view of the river and the deer sleeping by the river, and the hotel has an elevator so you don't have to carry your bags upstairs but can still enjoy an upper floor view.

That we couldn't stay longer!

Joe and the staff at Twisp River Suites were very friendly and accommodating and made our stay personal and so enjoyable! The atmosphere in and outside was so perfect and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at night with the fireplace lit and listening to the river sounds while cuddled up with a blanket and a glass of wine!

The couches were very comfortable but could have used couch cushions for us vertically challenged.

Breakfast was excellent. I was surprised it came in a bag. But with heating instructions it was a novel idea. Lea was the perfect hostess with the help of three of the cutest assistants.

TV reception

Attention to detail was exceptional. Things you never thought you would need were provided. They rake the sandy beach along the river like a Japanese garden...........are you kidding me???!!!! The brunch, because of Covid, was waiting in our frige upon arrival. And it was still superior reheated the next morning. I can go on and on.......
