Pool, rooms, check in.

The hotel was fair. But I booked a four star hotel and there’s no way this was four star. It was only three. I think booking.com should re evaluate this hotels star rating

Rooms were a bit on the spartan side. Lighting in the room is not cozy and the lamps with warmer bulbs didn’t work.

Pool / Cafe / Bar facilities were all great + wifi was solid.

The hotel did use single use plastics in the room despite a note saying elsewise on this website (soap, face wipes, cutlery in coffee shop, cups/coffee utensils in room). We opted for a super king room and it felt like the room could have benefitted from another chair as there was almost too much empty space in the room. Staff at reception were unable to answer questions about public transport in Miami.

The hotel was very clean and stylish. The location is excellent! Staff in general were very pleasant and the hotel also very accommodating with our dog. The room was very spacious. The frequent texts from the reception were very welcome as were the perks like loungers at the beach. The flexibility with late check-out was also very helpful.

You can hear upstairs every morning. Almost got rinsed another couple hundred dollars by some scam of a resort fee they tried to lay on me. Decline that. Don’t let them scam you. Room cleanup is upon request only

Wifi Signal in room was very poor. The bar from the hotel was very loud.

The photos make it seem better than what it really is. The rooms were very basic with little amenities example no iron. The fridge didn’t work. We had to request another towel as there was only one when we arrived. The espresso cups were not clean. We stayed here for 4 nights and had to request for our room to be cleaned and all they did was give us two towels.

The lobby/cafe need updating. The room needed decor. There were no pictures on the walls. It was not warm and welcoming.

Asked front desk to call us a cab and he called us a luxury car service. Which I believe cost more then a normal yellow cab would of.

Room was a bit too minimalistic, no pictures or other decor. Could have done with a chair.

Cleaners never checked in with our rooms at all until we left, but staff were nice and happy to provide more towels, and we had spare toilet roll etc. The air con wasn't too noisy, however the mini fridge was too noisy so I unplugged it at night. Multiple times there was noise disruption, e.g. banging or slamming of doors. They did provide earplugs though but clearly it could do with better sound protection. There are USB sockets near the bed however plug sockets could be more spaced apart. The shower head is fixed in place, would have preferred a power shower.

Pretty good rooms and clean to a high standard, beds were pretty comfortable. Excellent location being a 10 minute walk from south beach. Provide a free lounger per room on the beach.

There was nowhere to store luggage at reception. Fortunately we had friends already staying there & they were in the next room to ours so we were able to store our luggage there. We were in that room waiting to go out when we were notified that our room was ready, in spite of previously being told that we could move our luggage from our friend’s room & into ours & then check in on our room on our way out, they insisted that we go down 4 floors to reception before we could put our luggage in our room. At the weekends, rooms overlooking the pool were v noisy late into the night even on the 4th floor, because of the hotel bar.

The room did not have any type of view, and the lighting was a bit bad because of this. The noise from the hallway is very loud inside the room, however they supply earplugs so I assume they are aware of this situation.

I love the quiet location in a more residential area of South Beach, yet still close enough to all the major destinations. The pool, outside lounge area and minibar are all nice places to hangout. I appreciate the in room coffee machine as well. The front desk agent who checked me in was very personable.
