There is a very noisy bar in the hotel which the locals use. It was chaos and really noisy with kids running up and down screaming when we arrived at 4pm. The bar was still really noisy at 3am. Take ear plugs.

Hotel is in a great spot close to South Beach area. The room was nice and very clean and the coffee pods were nice.

nauseating smell of artificial air freshener in the hallway that is unpleasant and cheapens the experience some of the outlets were loose and didn’t work well no room cleaning or free water offered

- my main inconvenience was that there was no room service. We were not provided with clean towels (only after requesting clean towels after 4 days, twice). Also the bin was not emptied. I would not thing a four-star hotel, as is advertised at booking.com would not include such a service. I think this can be improved, because otherwise the overall impression was great! - was once charged extra for sun couch at the beach

The only downside this time was, that I have missed Luis food. This made always made the experience and convenience complete. This is why it's missing a star at service!

I am coming to Miami frequently, and have stayed at the Meridian several times now already. You can choose from a variety of room classes. You will never be disapointed. Romms are nice, clean and well airconditioned. The cherry on the top is the bar "Minibar" where also locals hang out. Live DJ almost every night, small, cool, cousy. Allways the first and last drink when going out, if we actually menage to leave :-)

Our room was right on the road on ground floor and very empty and uninspiring. Pool is teeny.

The sound insulation could be improved. You could hear everything from the rooms next to you. After our complaint we were moved to the top floor which was better.

Staff were excellent and very helpful especially Leyla and Luiz. Central location on a busy street but well insulated and heard very little traffic noise. Housekeeping on request so you are not bothered by Housekeeping staff all day trying to get in to clean. However on request, Housekeeping services were very efficient and rooms are serviced to a high standard. The hotel is centrally located and near major beaches and all of the fun of South Beach.

Not all the staff is well trained. We arrived at midnight and were told that the second room and resort fee was not paid yet. (It was paid in advance via booking.com.) We were charged for the resort fee again. The next day another employee paid the fees back. The valet parking didn‘t work pretty good. We told them that we need the car the next day because we had an appointment in the morning. They just forgot about it / didn‘t tell the colleague of the next shift. Almost the same thing two days later. We needed the car at 4 am in the morning, it arrived 20 minutes late. Okay for us because we included a half-our buffer but you need to know about that in advance. In one of the rooms there was no possibility to hang or store the clothes so you had to keep them in the bag all the time.

The location of the hotel is very nice. Beach, ocean drive etc. is not far away. But it is also only a 15 minute drive to the airport. Staff is friendly. Rooms were clean.

Check-in process could have been better. We were told that they would try to get our room ready earlier since we had an early arrival. But came back to find that we were the last folks waiting for our room to be ready, which means they prioritized other folks who came after us.

Location was convenient with lots of restaurant options near by, proximity to the beach and the inclusion of beach chair services. Small but popular mini-bar and coffee & conveniences shop on site.

Shower could have better pressure. Pool was small so at times the area was crowded. It would have been nice to have breakfast included but overall we loved our stay.

Great location, only a couple of blocks from the beach and close to all the shops, bars and restaurants Very friendly helpful staff. Loved the ambience of this small boutique hotel. Comfortable bed with lovely crisp white linen and soft pillows. Large room and spacious modern shower. Lovely little buzzy bar on site with a happy 2 hours. Terrific barman William. Also nice to have a breakfast/coffee/juice/snack bar in reception staffed by lovely friendly people. Free ice if you need. Complimentary bikes available to borrow plus deck chairs on the beach for guests use.
