Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

ChileThere was a weird smell inside the room, maybe old carpets or something, they only clean the room once a week, which could be better to have it more often, as if you're planning to do longer stays, you have to get your own soap and shampoo. The staff in the reception didn't make a good experience when checking in, told me my payment wasn't process (which it was), and that I had to call to Booking, which was very stressful, and they didn't even try to check or help (at the end realized that the payment was processed after many minutes waiting)
Location was nice, not many things close to it, but I was close to work which was the whole purpose in the first place, also this was the one with lower rates in the area. On the bright side, there was a fridge and a microwave too, which is also useful, and a laundry machine and dryer

It was a standard double room that met our needs perfectly. We were in town to go to Great America and needed a place to stay overnight. Appreciate that it was pet friendly with a reasonable deposit. Just a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay for a night. Right next to a Denny's so that is convenient as well.

United StatesI had reserved a king room for one of our companies managers so he could be close to a job site. The room he ended up with was not a king room, was not clean, and the staff was not accommodating. In addition to the subpar accommodations, the staff then charged our manager $50 as a deposit fee. Not only did we pay for the room in full, but we are more than understanding that hotels/motels need to keep a card on retainer for incidentals, they however did not hold the card, they charged it, twice. The room that he was given, smelled bad, had dirty carpets and was not a king room. He had stayed at the same hotel the previous evening October 17th, 2023, at which point he was given a king room. We are very unsatisfied with this hotel and do not plan to ever have our staff stay here again.
The only likeable feature this hotel/motel possesses is it's proximity to Denny's.
