Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesBreakfast was poor (though coffee was good!). 'Do-it-yourself' waffles were good, but with only 1 waffle-maker that took 2 min 30 seconds to cook a HUGE waffle the wait could be lengthy. Don't bother with the cardboard eggs, though bacon was good. Vending machines didn't work while we were there, no place to get water except vending machines & dining area (which was blocked off shortly after breakfast). Also beware if you've a bleach sensitivity. Cleaning staff uses lots of really strong bleach, scent lingers for hours. Only one 'comfortable' chair, so not good for two people to do more than sleep & bathe in the room.
All staff were very friendly & helpful. Convenient location. Easy check-in & check-out. Room was clean, bed made and clean towels & soaps provided daily.

United StatesThe continental breakfast was supposed to run until 9 AM during the week and 9:30 AM on the weekends. I went down to breakfast on Tuesday at about 8:55am. Yes I know I was cutting it close, but I didn’t want any food. I just wanted to get some orange juice. All the lights are shut off and the orange juice machine was also turned off. I Did find the woman and I did ask her to turn the machine back on, and she did so, but not very pleasantly. In the elevator I was speaking to another couple that was staying there and they stated that she’s been turning the lights off and starting to clean up at about 845 every morning. Wednesday was no different. She actually turned the light out on a family eating their cereal.
The location was wonderful. It had a small fitness center for my boyfriend to run on the treadmill in the morning. The staff was pleasant
