Housekeeping is sloppy. My room was”tidied” but pillows were left squashed, there was trash that was never removed from the waste basket and no clean towels were left for us. I called the front desk and a staff member brought us towels which was appreciated.

The location is excellent and is convenient to the aquarium and fisherman’s wharf.

The room curtains let some light in, for me that was a bit of a problem but the rest of my party could sleep well.

The location is great, very close to restaurants, shops and walking distance to the aquarium. Breakfast was also very nice and they also offer cheese and wine in the evening, that was a big plus for us to try local wines. The staff was all very nice and attentive.

The sink outside the bathroom drained slowly.

Easy to find. Location was convenient to cannery row. Room was very comfortable with fireplace, nice bed and two sinks. Breakfast had good hot and cold choices.

Our room seemed to be right next to reception and the main road outside which meant we could hear noise throughout the night. As we only stayed one night we didn’t mind too much however should we have stayed longer we would have asked to change rooms as this would have become bothersome for us.

Great hotel with a lovely feel. The staff were great and very attentive. The rooms were spacious and the addition of the fire was lovely. The wine and cheese evening was a great bonus to our stay. The breakfast had many options which was great.

It's a much bigger hotel than appears in photos, with several wings. Thin walls. Expensive parking.

Great location, can easily walk to many places that Monterey offers. Room was very spacious, with very high ceilings and a little fireplace and nice decor that made it feel cosy. Clean and well equipped. Appreciated wine and cheese at tea time. Breakfast was decent.

Flooring in room is not the greatest. The view from the room is not great.

However if you are a light sleeper like l am, try to get a room at the top floor otherwise you will hear the people above you stomping around the whole night. Luckily I had earplugs but it was quite unpleasant for the price it has...

The Inn has an excellent location and the room was very big and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast was included and it was perfectly adequate but limited in options so if you are staying for several days don't expect too much variety.

Great location approximately half way between the aquarium and fisherman's wharf. Room was very large offering plenty of space for us to unpack for the four day visit. Room was very clean and always kept this way by housekeeping throughout the trip. Wine and cheese in the lobby each afternoon was a nice additional touch.

We felt that the dogs got a better reception from the evening check in. Rest of staff were great - helpful and interested The water in the hotel tastes dreadful and smells of sulphur. Hotel definitely need to provide drinking water in the rooms and to filter all drinking water for tea coffee etc.

The location was great. Rooms were old fashioned, however large and comfortable. Loved the little courtyard and active fireplace (couldn't see carbon monoxide alarm though). Wine and cheese at 5pm was thoughtful and excellent Breakfast omelette was superb and lots of items on offer - very generous.

The rollaway bed could be more comfortable. The extra cost for parking needs to be shown before you make the reservation.

We felt pushed out on the day of check out by the cleaning staff. It was 830 am on the day we were to check out and a staff member keep asking if we were leaving and we said no many times. On our way to collect our last items from the room we found that our room had already been striped and the fridge cleaned out. We’ve never had this happen before and have stayed at the hotel many times in the past. We were very caught off guard.

Amazing breakfast, wine and cheese hour was great, and the staff was fabulous.

The 2nd night we had some guests above us that were very noisy. Sounded like they had a child or two that was jumping off the bed and landing loudly on the floor. This was going on around 11:30pm, so was very disturbing as it lasted for 15-20 minutes.

Check-in, house keeping services for extra pillows and for fixing the fireplace, great breakfast, and having a happy hour. Also, having parking underground and proximity to the aquarium and Cannery row.
